bubba smith
has an gm and /or gamer based a campaign on thehanna -barberra, now owned by dc hero SPACE GHOST?
Lord Liaden
Re: in re;SPACE GHOST I haven't (although I love the character), and I'm not aware of anyone who has. A GM would have a lot of work to do fleshing out such a campaign, as although Space Ghost had a fair sized rogue's gallery of villains, the galactic society of his era is almost completely overlooked in the series. OTOH I've long thought it would be cool to run a limited story arc starring all the great Hannah-Barbera "space" heroes from the '60's, including the Herculoids and the Galaxy Trio. FWIW Kevin Scrivner wrote up a pretty decent (although perhaps low-powered) version of Space Ghost for the Great Net Book of Real Heroes: http://www.sysabend.org/champions/gnborh/text/Space_Ghost-ks.txt
ghost-angel
Re: in re;SPACE GHOST If I were to run a Space Ghost campaign it would definitely be Pulp Sci-Fi and fleshing out would only be important when it was needed.
Dholcrist
Re: in re;SPACE GHOST There was a pretty decent comic book by Joe Kelly that was released a few years ago. Not great, but not bad either. Really just covered the origin of SG, and made him a great deal more serious. They fleshed out the universe a bit, though you'd obviously have to do a lot of work still. So I'd recommend looking that up if you're serious about wanting to GM that. TheRavenIs
Re: in re;SPACE GHOST Well I didn't run a game based on the cartoon, but I have played a C that was heavily influenced by the C.
Lord Liaden
Re: in re;SPACE GHOST It might be interesting to run a legacy campaign with Space Ghost gone, but adult Jan and Jace succeeding him, each wearing one of his power bands. Oh, and Blip grown up to the size of a gorilla.

Lord Liaden
Re: in re;SPACE GHOST I like the idea' date=' add in the Herculoids and all the 60's Saturday Morning Cartoon.[/quote'] Well, if we're doing legacy, for the Herculoids Dorno may have taken over as leader of the animals and protector of their planet. Assuming the Herculoids aren't unique creatures, they may have had offspring -- little Igoos and Tundros running around, like Gleep to Gloop. There may be a new Galaxy Trio too, made up of the children or apprentices of the originals. Perhaps the whole crew could be part of a quest: Space Ghost, Zandor, and the first generation Herculoids and GT mysteriously disappeared, and now their successors are searching the galaxy for them. That doesn't sound like a bad campaign premise.
