Vondy
I know there are several ways to build this. This one is a little unorthodox. The basic SFX is "chicks dig him." Its not an attempt on the character's part to be charming/seductive, nor is he good looking or of melodious voice, nor is there a specific factor you could point to. Its innate. Some women just have a positive reaction to him. Also, I don't prefer to avoid the powers as super skills where possible. I prefer to use skills, perks, and talents where possible. My basic build is: Charm (No Conscious Control, Women Only) +3 This allows it to be skill vs. skill or stat if the GM wants to handle it that way. It also means the roll can be modified positively or negatively by the targets psych lims and circumstances if apropos. Resistance with relevant SFX can also be used to modify the defender's roll. It also allows the GM to decide when it comes into play. But.... Its a skill roll. Those are usually, at least, a half phase action. So, if the GM makes the roll does the character lose the action? Do I have to buy a modifier to get rid of that?
Nevenall
Re: Charm - No Conscious Control That's a fair question to which I don't know the answer. What about buying +15 PRE (No Conscious Control, Women Only)?
ghost-angel
Re: Charm - No Conscious Control Why not just use Chicks Dig Him Striking Appearance +3/+3D6 (6pts): Women You could add NCC to that if you felt it was appropriate, but that seems to cover both the skill roll and any form of PRE he may use. By extension IMO, "GM chooses to make a roll on my behalf" would therefore also be a No Time action.
