Susano
I recently picked up Valve's Orange Box for OS X, and have started playing things like Portal (addictive), Team Fortress II (still trying to get a handle on that one), and Half-Life 2 (doubly addictive.) Has anyone ever done any work with converting elements of Half-Life II to Hero? I'm curious, as there are a lot of neat elements that I've seen so far (if you've played HL2, I'm at the bridge [the really long one, with the trains]), on the way to the prison. Susano
Re: Half-Life Hero? There's a guy at CERN who looks a lot like Freemen. People ended up sending him a Half Life strategy guide, a red crowbar, and a headcrab plushie.

What do you do after five sessions when it has decayed to zero? Start Half-Life 2, the sequel.

Susano
Re: Half-Life Hero? I may try and create ant-lions, barnacles, Striders, Gunships, and Hunters as characters. And yes, those last three are (IMO) characters, not vehicles.
Ragitsu
Re: Half-Life Hero? My question is semi-serious . Susano, Gunships (the floating "synths") are alive enough to where I agree they can be interpreted as characters. Also, do you think it would be better to handle Gordon's weapons as standard equipment, or built as Powers? I already know the Gravity Gun will defiitely be handled as OAF Telekinesis of some sort. I'd build it all as equipment, since it's not specific to the Freeman. Alyx uses the Gravity Gun, for example, and everything else he has is found equipment. The HEV suit is his specifically, though.
