The main baddies are a secret organisation (not so new there) but this organisation is extradimensional and extratemporal as well as downright weird. They are manipulating events on earth from government coverups to petty crimes and the characters may not have any real contact with this organisation for a long time. I got my inspiration for this from a child's sci-fi book I read when I was in elementary school titled "The Tutti Frutti Connection":oSilly I know. The heroes may find themselves having to align themselves with some other bad guys who don't want to cooperate with this organisation. Who knows what can happen. Odd coincidence, but it sounds like a similar sort of thing. Extra dimensional/extra temporal bad guys secretly rule the world and the heroes are fighting against them. I see a lot of weirdness, extra dimensional chases, confused chains of causality. As well as good old fashioned conspiracy theory stuff. Sounds like fun.
