Alverant
I'm working on a character concept who's spiritual. Someone who is so serene and at peace that just being around him makes people feel better. How would this be done? It's a minor effect of an aspect of the character so I'm hoping it could be done with Change Environment as opposed to Mind Control or Transform. Xavier Onassiss
Re: Calming Effect One of the optional rules in the Advanced Players' Guide is to allow 'casual' use of characteristics other than STR. This power/effect could be seen as a use of Casual PRE: half the character's PRE is constantly in effect on those in his immediate area, calming them down and making them less violent. (And less prone to other PRE attacks counter to this mood.)
Lucius
Re: Calming Effect Like this? Let there be peace on Earth. Let it begin with me.: Change Environment (-3 PRE Roll and all Skill Rolls based on PRE, only to suppress attempts to incite violence, restlessness, discontent, etc. Also -3 to rolls to go Enraged/Berserk), Area Of Effect (8m Radius Explosion; +1/4), Persistent (+1/4), Inherent (+1/4), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2), Sticky (+1/2), Invisible Power Effects (Invisible to [two Sense Groups]; +1) (45 Active Points); No Conscious Control (Only Effects cannot be controlled; -1), Always On (-1/2), No Range (-1/2), Conditional Power Power does not work in Common Circumstances (If character's own serenity and inner peace are disturbed. For example: character is actively fighting; takes damage and fails an EGO roll; is under a Mental Power; etc.; -1/2) Real Cost:13 Lucius Alexander The palindromedary calms down and feels better

Lucius
Re: Calming Effect Great now go to my human library thread and get to work mister! I'm sorry, you just took a -3 to your Persuasion Roll on that one. But because it's you, I'll go take a look anyway. Lucius Alexander The palindromedary thought Enforcer knew Lucius better than that. Don't push him around - challenge and intrigue him.
