    How to build this

    This is along the right lines we don't want to build a computer or buy enhanced senses...that is the SFX of the Heal. The only other limitation we need is the character has no control over when it fires only the triger can activate it.
  2. A member of our group is a super suite wearing normal. He wants a heal that is a life sign monitor that injects him with Helling Medications when he gose uncontious. He has no control over when it activates. It is all dependent on the life sign monitor. We are looking at 2d6 heal, Simplified Healing, with 2 charges. The problem is how do you do the rest of it?
  3. "The Legend of Nightfall" I'm just getting ready to start a game based on a book by Mickey Zucker Reichert called “The Legend of Nightfallâ€. It’s a Northern European like world/society there is not fantasy races, only humans. No “monsters†orks, trolls, dragons, etc. However there is magic, very little and very limited. One in one thousand people are born with a “giftâ€. Some magical ability that is completely innate and natural to that person. Then there are sorcerers who hunt down, kill, and enslave the soul of the “gifted†to gain access to their power. All of the Players will be playing a “giftedâ€.
  4. That's exactly what i'm looking for. This is an NPC in a Fantisy Hero game, he can not desolid he can only chang his weight.
  5. I'm working on a character that can Change his body mass. I plan to set it up as a multipower with Density Increase No STR Increase as half of it. I also want to be able to reduce my mass down to basically nothing...though my equipment/clothing would still have mass. This is for a 150point Heroic game. The Density decrease would allow me to jump and move quickly. I was thinking of using a variation of shrinking to simulate this? With inches of jumping to replace Perception and DCV bonuses. Any suggestions?

  7. I’m converting my D20 game to FH…Best thing I’ve ever done. I’m running into a problem. One of the characters has some magical tattoos. One of these tattoos I’m having trouble designing. The tattoos require an activation roll, easy RSR EGO, to activate. And the part I’m having trouble with to deactivate. They also require an action to activate / deactivate…would this be extra time? I’m not sure how to do all this. The tattoo in question in D&D terms is a +4 to STR with the side effect of -4 to WIS. I’ve built it in Hero as +10 to STR with a side effect of -5 to INT and a -5 to EGO…I added the Int to fit the point minimum of the side effect disad. How would you build this any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is what I have so far. Cost: 4 Tattoo - Muskhorn: +10 STR (10 Active Points); Requires An EGO Roll (-3/4), Side Effect -5 INT & - 5 EGO, Side Effect occurs automatically whenever Power is used (-1/2), IIF (Focus: Tattoo; -1/4)
  8. Again more apocalyptic then it sounds like you want but the Rifts universe is all about the return of magic...It just happened to be a very violent return.
  9. Doug, (good name) Yes this is flight that can't leav the ground and and dose not work in combat, and I like haveing the turn modes in there. But yes this is compleately and totaly a non cobat ability anyone that can hit a moving target will have no problem picking one of these guys off. I put in the Semi-sold ground to simulate an ability simular to Legolas in LotR when he walked ontop of the snow and everyone else was trudging though it. In this case it will apply more to sand. Healed Points: 6), Reduced Endurance 0 END (+1/2), Persistent (+1/2), Variable Effect All Characteristics Simultaneously (+2) (40 Active Points); Extra Time 5 Minutes (-2), Self Only (-1/2), Always On (-1/2) This would heal 1d6 Character Points Worth of every Characteristics every 5 min. OR we could make it cheeper and do this. Cost 5 Healing 1d6 (max. Healed Points: 6), Variable Effect One Characteristic At A Time (+1/4), Reduced Endurance 0 END (+1/2), Persistent (+1/2) (22 Active Points); Extra Time 5 Minutes (-2), Self Only (-1/2), Always On (-1/2) This will work for any one Characiteristic at a time for half the price.

  12. What I'm going for here is a Race that can Sprint for long distances across the dessert for days at a time, with only a few hours rest. As Archer is saying the reduced endurance is only for non combat movement. What I’m looking for is 4 additional inches of movement both combat and non combat, but in non combat they can sprint i.e. x4 multiplier with very little endurance loss so that they can keep it up for a long period of time. Yes I am using hero designer. P.S. I just did some math and assuming a speed of 3 this would come out to 40.9 MPH. That's hauling ___. I'm thinking I might want to limit this a little more and buy it as flight only on ground with extra time to activate. This fits into line with where I "barrowed" the concept from.

What do you all think and any other ways you can think of to do this?

  15. You are corect a Masterwork sword in D&D is defined as a bonus to hit or damage. I wanted to save bonuses like that for purly magical weapons. I wanted to make Masterwork something different. I do like your idea of reduced stun I might have t swipe that mysellf
  16. The 30 Active points are from the 0 END that you buy a muscle powerd weapon with. This is the standard active points for a Longsword. My goal was to make a sword that was better then standard with out a strait bonus to damage (extara DCs) or OCV bonus. In essance a Masterwork or high quality but non-magical sword.

Long Sword, Masterwork, all slots: Independent (-2), OAF (-1), STR Minimum (10; -1/2), Real Weapon (-1/4) 1) Killing Attack - Hand-To-Hand 4DCs (plus STR) (vs. PD), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2) (30 Active Points) 2) Killing Attack - Hand-To-Hand 1DC (vs. PD), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2) (7 Active Points); Limited Power (Only when Attack roll succeds by 5 or more; -1 1/2) I dont' want to just make it do more damage or have a bonus to OCV but i want it to be better then a normal weapon of its' type...any other sugestions?
