  1. And now for a little bit of eviillllll -- the 31st Century's incarnation of Mister Wicked, known in that future era as Lord Wicked (along with a pic of his alter-ego, Reginald Wickshire-Edwardson? The "cane" shown in Lord Wicked's pic is actually a short-ranged disruptor weapon that, when activated, fires a series of pulses at his intended victim, which not only renders said victim helpless but also neutralizes any communicatior or tracking implants he or she may have as well (visually, the effect is similar in appearance to the EMP-wave attack used to incapacitate Striker Eureka in Pacific Rim, but in a narrow arc). The pulses are emitted from the emerald-like gem at the top of the "cane". In addition to disguising his identity, Lord Wicked's costume incorporates a voice-distortion module, which not only alters the sound of his voice, it also prevents audio sensors from getting an accurate reading of his voice, which would expose his identity to law-enforcement officials. It also incorporates a few sensory-protection devices; namely, ear protectors which block the effect of sonic attacks while allowing him to hear normally, and a polarized optic visor that guards against high-intensity light-based attacks. His mask has a built-in filter, which prevents him from being affected by chemical/gas-based attacks; a set of miniature oxygen tanks (containing a 1-hour supply of breathable air) is connected to it and can be activated in the event that Lord Wicked is unable to immedi- ately leave the affected area. In his identity of Reginald Wickshire-Edwardson, he has created the image of a wealthy eccentric, who has established what, a thousand years past, would have been called a historical reenactors society. In this role, he has -- from time to time -- organized fund-raising events to aid one needy charity or another; said events usually take the form of 'period parties', where the attendees show up in costumes appropriate to the time period represented by the theme of the party. These parties have covered the time period starting from the Victorian Age, and ending in the mid- to latter part of the 21st Century. Major Tom 2009
  2. Here's a revised version of my 5th Ed. Champions character Powerstar, as well as his civilian alter-ego of Dr. Alexander MacNeill: The "Dr." before his name isn't a medical title, as his professional specialty lies in the field of astrophysics. Major Tom 2009 ?
  3. Here's a new version of one of Lord Dark Matter's most terrifying minions: Messenger of Lord Dark Matter It goes without saying that this is one delivery boy that you don't ever want to open your door for (?)... Major Tom 2009
  4. As mentioned in the previous post, the FH14 app on my laptop had to be removed (along with several other apps) due to problems with said laptop. Hoping to rectify the situation and get the app back, I visited the website where the various versions of FdH had been, hoping that at least the download files were still available. They were, but if anyone reading this post wants to go to the website to download the FH14 app, be advised: when I clicked on the download button to reload the file, I got hit with a virus that shut my laptop down until I could get it cleared up. The only reason that I have FH14 back is that the original file download was still in my file downloads menu (I thought that when the app had been removed meant that it had been erased from the hard drive, not just from the desktop menu), and it was just a matter of reinstalling it (all praises to the File Download menu ). 5. Here's a pic that I had an idea for after getting FH14 back on my desktop menu (after the app had to be removed following some problems with my laptop; more on this later): What if Sparkler (IIRC, a teenage supervillainess from Classic Enemies) managed to find some mad scientist-type who told her that he could increase the strength of her powers -- and what if, not only were her powers increased as promised, her "wowza" factor got kicked up a few notches as well (as in she not only aged a few years in a matter of seconds, but also wound up with a body that most women would kill for)? This was what I came up with: Sparkler (2.0 -- and then some) Major Tom 2009?
  6. Just make sure that if Cavor does (or did) have a base on the other side of the Moon, that he's not unknowingly sharing the neighborhood with those twisted Teutonics from Iron Sky (?)... Major Tom 2009
  7. John Wick Quote: "Winston. Tell them. Tell them all. Whoever comes, whoever it is -- I'll kill them. I'll kill them all." Major Tom 2009 Of course he will...
  8. Finally (for right now), we have an upgraded version of a baddie that originally appeared on the T.E.D. thread (IIRC) -- a tribute to several robotic adversaries of Mankind: DALCYB-1, Mk.II Major Tom 2009
  9. Next up is a female version of a certain bright and shiny board-rider of the spaceways: Cosmic Surfer Girl Major Tom 2009
  10. I just got through updating some of my earlier pics that had been originally done with FdH2011, and since I do have access to the 2014 version, I thought that there was room for improvement. So here's the first of the updated pics, featuring a super-terrorist who uses some very nasty pseudo-biological weapons: Biohazard Major Tom 2009
  11. The Carol Ferris Star Sapphire is a heroine now? When did that happen?! Major Tom 2009
  12. I'm guessing from her absence in the list of GL's Rogues' Gallery that this is set before Star Sapphire's first appearance? Major Tom 2009
  13. Egyptoid already did; a few years back, he had a thread on the boards in which he described a Green Lantern Corps-type of organization called the Cosmic Centurions, each of whom possessed power bands which granted them specific powers based upon the color or type of element represented by their uniforms. Some of the board's members who followed that thread contributed Centurion characters of their own, including yours truly. I even added a smaller group of similar super- beings called the Star Centurions ( like the Cosmic Centurions, the Star Centurions was a multi-species group, which like the Cosmic Centurions also included a member from Earth); both groups were committed to the fight against Lord Dark Matter and his minions. I'll have to see if the thread is still available here on the boards. EDIT: I just got through searching for the thread, and apparently it's no longer here on the boards; however, I did find posts where it was referenced (mostly in this thread). Oh, well... 14. Lord Dark Matter's very own 'comedy relief': Zorick Thule, Court Jester of Lord Dark Matter Major Tom 2009
  15. Given that Wonder Woman was originally sent to 'Man's World' as an ambassador from Themiscyra (a.k.a. Paradise Island) (AFAIK), it would make sense for her to make her home in New York City, where she could be close to the U.N. headquarters if need be. Major Tom 2009
  16. And here's LDM's very own personal religious fanatic: Grand Censor Mal'ar Major Tom 2009
  17. A commander of a battlecruiser flotilla in LDM's fleet: Commodore D'ahmos And his vampiric second-in-command: Captain Zanguinias Major Tom 2009
  18. Here's Lord Dark Matter's top commando team, The Hand of Darkness: Khameleos Lygara Ultram DeFang R'hnos And the being who chooses their targets -- one of Lord Dark Matter's most fearsome servants: Legate Mortalis Major Tom 2009
  19. I would've thought that, given that the Sailor Guardians are magical super-girls, that Wonder Woman would be a far more appropriate mentor figure for them than the Batman; let's face it: teenybopper perkiness wouldn't last long under the power of the Batglare*. The Amazonian Pout of Doom*, on the other hand, would be easier to deal with over the long term, lacking as it does the happiness-crushing power of Batman's Grimness. (*Both terms courtesy of the fanfic story "Harry Potter and the Power of Oa".) Major Tom 2009
  20. General Hospital was the show I had in mind where the magic sword and weather-control storylines were concerned. Major Tom 2009
  21. Oh, Lord, yes, I did indeed have the dubious fortune to have watched ElecrtraWoman and DynaGirl on the Saturday mornings of my long-vanished youth. In later years, especially during summers when the afternoon soaps like Days of our Lives (in which the actress that played ElectraWoman, Deidra Hall[?], had an ongoing role in), were running, I used to suspect that -- given the very-often strange storylines that were part and parcel of those shows, especially back in the '80s -- that the actress sometimes wished that her character would turn into ElectraWoman and give the Villain of the Season a much-deserved smackdown. Trust me -- where story elements such as demonic possession, magic swords, and weather-control machines being used to put entire cities in a deep-freeze are commonplace, the sudden appearance of a superhero wouldn't be all that strange... Major Tom 2009
  22. Don't know what the significance of that location is; I was thinking more of the time in an issue of The Brave and The Bold (pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths) when Batman got accidentally pulled into the 30th Century and wound up fighting alongside the Legion of Super-Heroes. IIRC, it happened when someone from the LSH's era came to 20th-century Gotham and planted an antimatter bomb within a time capsule which was set to detonate 1,000 years in the future; Batman arrived after the creep planted his bomb, assumed that the perp was trying to steal something, and in attempting to apprehend said perp was pulled along for the ride when he went back to the future*. *If you only knew how tempted I was to italicize the last four words in that sentence ()... EDIT: My brain just kicked in. Isn't Jusenkyo where the cursed water pools are in Ranma 1/2? Major Tom 2009
  23. Yeah, Bats does get around, doesn't he? It also seems that there's nowhere -- or nowhen -- that he can't show up if circumstances permit. Major Tom 2009
  24. Syren of the Screaming Death Major Tom 2009
