    Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Honestly, I think they are an attempt to make up a number that means nothing. As a number cruncher, it would be more interesting to run statistical data to determine the z-scores to find out which threads deviate from the norm. But that would involve someone running a spreadsheet to maintain.

Like run an entire page of hot chicks and post the link on catsuit. Something like that. For now, it is getting into the top 5.

But understand that when I say this, I do not consider Star Trek: TNG a spin off of the original Star Trek. One of the requirements in my mind for a Spin Off is one of the characters has to initially move to the new show. In this case, DSN had Miles O'Brien and later Worf.
