John: I think we can assume that these entities are more advanced than us. Why don't they just come right out and tell us what's on their minds?
Leek: You're more advanced than a cockroach. Have you ever tried explaining yourself to one of them?

    X-Men's Jet

The first jet used by the X-Men was simply a commercially available Challenger 605 owned by Worthington Industries and stored at LaGuardia Airport, appropriated by Warren Worthington III, the X-Man known as Angel, on a mission to Europe (see Angel; X-Men). Following this, the X-Men decided they would need a dedicated aircraft of their own. Fortunately, Worthington and fellow X-Man Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops (who also piloted the jet), knew just where to turn to obtain one (see Cyclops).

The current X-Jet, affectionately known as the Blackbird after its spiritual predecessor, the SR-71, is a prototype design produced by Lockheed-Martin, with avionics and parts obtained from Stark Industries and Worthington Industries (see Stark Industries). Its hull is formed from a lightweight radar-absorbing advanced laminate material, forward-swept wings and thrust vectoring for greater agility, and lift jets that can be engaged to permit it to perform VTOL operations. The craft seats two in the cockpit and can seat eight passengers comfortably.

Combinations are a good way to inject flavour into a character's fighting style, but a bit too expensive for most* players. So some of the following are done as AoA (Double), with Extra Attack or as Rapid Strikes for high skill characters.

Sentry Removal: Judo or Wrestling Grapple/Face + Knife Thrust/Neck Veins/Arteries.**
Usually followed by Knife Swing/Neck***, probably two such attacks.

Defending unarmed against a lone attacker: (Aggressive Parry****) + Counterattack Judo or Wrestling Arm Lock + Throw from Lock + Brawling or Karate Stamp Kick/Face.

Defending unarmed against multiple attackers: Judo or Wrestling Arm Lock + Shoving People Around (Move Grappled Foe into Position as Cover) + (Fast Draw Opponent's Weapon).
End with a Step, if necessary, to maximise your cover from the grappled foe.

Unarmed pre-emptive defence: Judo or Wrestling Grapple/Torso + Brawling or Karate Knee Strike/Groin.

*Nope, I guess that would be all, of my players.
**On the basis that not doing so would be unrealistic, I allow the damage bonus from All-Out Grapple and Strike to apply even when not attacking the same hit location, as long as the move makes sense in real world terms and the location grappled is of comparable difficulty to hit.
***As a house rule, if a character deliberately leaves his weapon in a wound (thus making it unavailable for Parrying or multiple attacks), he may attack the same hit location without the usual penalty with his next attack. If the opponent moves in the meantime, of course, no dice.
****Only versus an unarmed attack, of course.

"We'll get to that. We're not going to keep you here- we're tearing this place down as soon as the owners get all their equipment out of it- but you have to understand that you're in a pretty unique position. We didn't take your memories; you never had any in the first place. You were grown in a tank on a science ship in orbit around this system's primary star and implanted with the personality pattern of a human from Earth. If it's any condolence, I was against this whole plan from the beginning."

"About... five or six billion years ago, there were these people who called themselves the Stephinian Empire. They were a violent bunch of bastards, and they took over the whole galaxy, enslaving everyone. Then they all died. Without any kind of higher power to incentivize peace, and with access to devastating weapons tech, the whole galaxy devolved into war. There was no interstellar trade- no-one would risk even broadcasting their location. Even if the folks that heard you weren't interested in conquering anybody, they didn't want to take the risk that you were, or that you'd catch the attention of someone who did, so they'd strap an FTL drive on a handful of big rocks and let 'em go..."

"Meanwhile, this robot they built was tooling around in his little spaceship, looking for a place in the world. And then he found his home- our home, the planet Stephinia. So he cleared out the alien scuzzballs that had taken over, and he took over as Emperor, whipped us into shape. Before a hundred years were up, the Third Stephinian Empire was back in the saddle, most powerful sons a' bitches in the galaxy. Except this time, we weren't going to enslave everyone. We were just gonna tax 'em. Impose law and order, all that good stuff. It's sorta' like the United States of America on your planet, with a federal government that makes the big laws, and then a bunch of little state governments that carry 'em out and make laws specific to their territory..."

"Anyway, even with the Empire bearin' down on everyone, there were still folks that cause trouble. Sorta like... on your planet, you had the Nazis. Crazy bastard leading a bunch of brainwashed people? Imagine what would happen if that guy won, and your whole planet ended up like that, and then stayed like that for so long it ended up going beyond just culture and got into your genes. Or even if it didn't really. Imagine a planet like that figured out how to get to other star systems. They'd be able to kill billions of people before anyone even knew it was coming."

"So what the Emperor decided to do was to start making investigations into developing planets, see how they were coming along. And if things weren't going the right way, he'd give 'em a little... nudge. But if, in the end, the new species ended up being too violent, too crazy, too power-hungry... we'd go down there and turn the planet's surface back into magma. Trade seven billion for fourteen billion. Quick and painless. Nobody likes doing it, but we've seen what happens when you try to save everyone. They end up dying anyway, and take good people down with 'em."

"Anyway, long story short, your Earth is getting some mixed reviews. Your species-wide culture is starting to settle down, and we can always send someone in to disappear some research data, but eventually you're going to work out how to break the lightspeed barrier, and we haven't decided what's going to happen when you do. So the Emperor is experimenting with a few new things, putting out private-sector contracts to gather more data for or against your species. Unfortunately, one of the contracts went out to these jerks, who cloned you, and here we are. The idea was to test your problem solving abilities, then your empathy. Unfortunately, as you've probably seen, the experiment design was crap, and one of the clones died, which I'm pretty sure opens them up to some sort of litigation... so yeah. That's the whole reason. 'Cos some dumbass spider-people turned out to be the lowest bidder."
