Re: Channeling Past Lives Since I would have to write up a character sheet for each individual past life(the player doesn't know Hero well enough to make up the sheets herself), there will definitely be a limit to the number of personalities she has. I'm actually thinking 4, at least to start, so Multiform with some limitations or a VPP for Multipower sounds like the way to go. That's actually what I thought, but I was wondering if I were missing something terribly clever/terribly obvious.
  2. I'm kind of stumped about how to proceed with something. I'm running a low-powered game (50+50 points) wherein characters are allowed to have strange talents. One player wants her character to have access to memories of "past reincarnations." The way I envision this working is that the character would actually change personalities, skills, some disads, etc. when she's channeling a past life. So, for the moment, she would "become" Cleopatra or Mae West or Groucho or whomever, within the physical constraints of her body (i.e. most Physical Limitations and Distinctive Appearances would remain). What's the most point-effective way of achieving this effect? Thanks!
  3. Re: Post Apocolyptic Dark Champions Wow, that's really a bummer. I recall that Danger International had a post-apocalypse section, so I was really hoping for similar here. The majority of the subgenre would certainly fit better in a modern setting than a sci-fi setting, like The Stand, Alas, Babylon, Earth Abides, and many more. Are there any plans to cover thsi subgenre at all?
  4. I have a very, very large city (over 2 million people) in my campaign world, and I've been contemplating developing at least two new styles of magic. The first is a type taught by the large and powerful thieves' guild that enhances a thief's ability to bypass security, gain entrance to inaccessible areas, open locks and remain undetected. The second is urban magic, magic that is particularly useful (and perhaps can only be used) in urban areas. As I imagine it, it would combine some aspects of mind control (for making friends and influencing people), trade magic, and possibly summoning the various creatures that can be found in urban areas, either natural (rats, crows, etc.) or unnatural (fear elementals, dopplegangers, what have you). This can be done currently by cobbling together bits from other colleges, but I want something more unidied philosophically and mechanically.
