  1. How would you build the EP-13 and EU-13 and synchro cannons alphas use in Robotech Also how would you build the twin laser nose cannons on the alphas? I know the EP-13 should be auto possibly have charges... (or) 1 (or 2) x EP-13 three-barreled 80mm particle gun pod, firing 170 rounds per minute in full automatic mode, also capable of firing all three barrels simultaneously in semiautomatic mode at approximately one shot per second. This weapon fires 8.2 MJ pulses per barrel in each mode, with its own dedicated protoculture cell and capacitor banks in the 'magazine'. This weapon, built into an external shell identical to that of the GU-13, was developed in 2025 by the EF, but didn't see wide use until 2026. By 2031, the EP-13 had almost completely replaced the GU-13 as the main cannon of Alphas in the EF's inventory. The weapon is stored under the wing root in fighter mode, and in the hand in Guardian and Battloid modes. (or) 1 x EU-13 Destabilizer (after 2043), sub-nuclear particle beam gun with output of 36 MJ, can fire up to 30 times/minute. The gun pod draws power from its own dedicated protoculture canister, but can by fired using the plane's own power, and is stored in fighter mode between the upper reserve engine/missile pylons. The particles have a specific, disrupting effect on force fields, and will short out a low power field completely, while high power fields may temporarily and locally cease to function.
  2. Re: Black Market Bioroids I would say all of the places i suggested as well as the one you named Steve to be working on them. all with different goals. some soldiers, some better smuggling mules, some better spies, some sex slaves and so one.
  3. Re: Esper powers caused by infection What happens when these spores encounter native fungi? What happens when the native fungi start swapping genes with the alien fungi? (could they start effecting other mammals or other types of animals maybe they get non psychic powers. cockroaches that regenerate...) What happens when the fungi starts adapting to our environment? Does it like light? does it prefer darkness? Does the fungus become toxic at a certain concentration. Researching toxic mold infestations and what is done in them might be worth doing. What happens with the kids born to the infected? At some point everyone might have powers. What decides the type of powers?

Re: Black Market Bioroids Lawless areas like Africa would be ripe for doing this as their is not strong central government to prevent it and the local warlords would be all for any new kind of weapon. I could see dictators in the Middle east doing this to their people as they want new ways to hold onto their power. China would likely happily do this. In America it would be highly illegal as would western Europe. I could see drug Cartels getting into it. They would want stronger soldiers to guard their drug shipments and there are large swaths of jungle in south America that are virtually impossible to control. Check out the CIA Fact book you will likely find governments that would be willing to experiment with it as they do not value human lives much and ones that ave very little control of their country where criminals operate with impunity.
  6. Re: How to create alien language? They are refering to Japanese and Chinese. For example Sake=an alcoholic beverage. Sake=salmon Same word 2 different meanings and it is the context and tone that differentiates them.
  7. Re: How to create alien language? Research what Ben Burt did for Star Wars. Look into what Star Trek did for Klingon. JRR Tolkien is another good source as he was a huge fan of creating languages.

I am still trying to wrap my head around the propper way to do staterooms. Do I just calculate the number of state rooms and multiply the cost? What other things do I need to do to complete the design?

  14. Re: How do I get started in making a cruiser sized ship? thanks for the help. So the fold drives would be teleport with mega scale. The space fold bubble would be about 2000 feet. Everything within that radius would jump along with it. How would you do the Fold Bubble. The program says you can't do area affect. For the state rooms do you have to buy separate ones for each crew member or does what you put in count? If you want to see Robotech it is on Hulu

How would you handle the fold system? I am looking for a step one length is x and that is on such and such table. I know that one is from a table. But then how did you get the dex etc.
