  1. Re: Who was the LAMEST?

    Ravage 2099.

Waitaminnit...you saw that too? I thought it was some sort of warped nightmare creation in my mind... :stupid: Man, this thing redefined bad. (And I almost had it out of my mind forever, thank you very much! :nya: )

  2. Re: Who was the LAMEST?

The Green Goblin hero wasn't the original Green Goblin. He was a kid who found the suit' date=' equipment, etc. and decided to be a superhero. Not a terrible character or book, really.[/quote']

I did not know that. I'll lessen my dire accusation, though the idea that someone would decide to adopt an infamous villain's identity to become a hero still strikes me as dubious...but I will reserve further judgment until I read the book.

Re: Jimmy Olsen--Jimmy was a great non sidekick sidekick. I enjoyed a lot of his "Mister Action" stories. Mmmmm...cheesey :D

Re: Punisher--Yes. The lamest. Hands down. Another villain turned "superhero.":thumbdown:

  3. Re: Who was the LAMEST?

Didn't they try to make the Green Goblin a hero, too?

    The Green freakin Goblin.:stupid:

Next, the Joker has a sudden change of heart: "Hey, I've been killing people, and killing is wrong! From now on I will use my psychotic antisocial behaviour and deadly poisons for good!"

  4. Re: Musings on Random Musings

What's this 'Venture Brothers' I keep hearing about?

    JG

If you like Johnny Quest, then you'll love the Venture Brothers, a brilliant parody on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

Cockpits and Booby Traps. The Venture Brothers are two hot-blooded, all-American teens who spend most of their time hopping from one whirlwind adventure to the next. Along with their caustic and self-centered father, Doctor Venture, the brothers have the uber-spy Brock Samson to protect them and the robot H.E.L.P.eR to, well...help them. Beset on all sides by inept enemies and strange goings-on, the Venture Brothers have to do all they can to make it out in one piece! Which really isn't much...

Brock is voiced by Patrick Warburton, and his love/nemesis is superspy Molotov Coctease, just to give you a taste...

    Whoa, deja vu...

  5. Re: Hulk Smash: What is your favorite version?

Professor Hulk, definitely. He was the only one that came close to qualifying as a hero. When savage hulk defeated the Leader, or Wendigo, or the Abomination, it was strictly in self defense. There were no heroic or altruistic motivations at all. It was also nice to see him with a sense of humor. The Pantheon was fun, and I was sorry to see them go so soon. I was very disappointed to see the Hulk go savage again.

And what are these lizard-hulks running around...?:sick:

This only takes a minute and its fun. Please don't be a bore and ruin it.Send it onto everyone you know including the person that sent it to you.Sometimes when you have a stressful day or week, you need some silliness to break up the day.

    Here is your dose...

    "Dear NGD,

    I find this immensely silly.

    Signed,

    Fluffy Lizardlips"

  8. Re: Your Favorite Useless Power

First, let me say that this is one of the funniest threads I've ever read...kudos to you all! And since my first contribution idea was taken (ranged taste), I present a classic I've always loved:

    (As character's only mutant power)

    Invisibility vs. Mutant detectors.
