    We have the throat thing going around that leaves you feeling ok' date=' but your voice is completely gone... the only plus is as I started to get it back, I sounded like someone from a 1-900 number... had guys freaked out for days, thinking they'd hit the wrong number on their speed dial :eg:[/quote']:eek: ....     I was sick with a fever three times in a row and have missed about three weeks of Karate classes. I was all set to go today and I get a bad stomach upset. I couldn't eat much, do Karate or even see a movie.

     

    So I'm cranky. :mad:

    If done with reverence, most of the Masons I've known would probably approve.

    Sorry 'Bec... never managed to wind up with the Masons. Which is weird, considering how much I know about the masons, the number of masons I've hung out with, and the communities I've hung out in. (Lots of Scots)

    My great uncle was a mason. I saw my first masonic funeral today.

    They wear approns.

    I laughed and wondered what they'd think of gamers dressed in chainmail.

    I think they look fine unless they wear sneakers, have pot bellies and thier only knowledge of soap is from a TV commercial. :D

    From the Zombies of Hazzard County game I ran as a replacement game this weekend. I plan on eventually writing it all up as part of a Con Game in a Box series I want to do.

     

    While raiding Boss Hogg's liquer stores to find FUel to burn the zombies with, since the players already blew up the fuel station and the propane storage tank next to the station.

    "He's got a bottle of vodka...He's a communist!"

     

    After first discovering that there are zombies in town.

    "How is it that baby jesus would allow zombies to prowl the earth?"

    Maxwell Smart (played by Keith Curtis) loses his luggage in the ocean when diving onto the Love Boat. Many hours later, at dinner in the evening, the Nanny (of ...and the Professor), played by someone whose name escapes me, suggests, "Perhaps they'll recover your luggage." (player rolls her 6d6 Luck, without even checking the results, which did end up with 1 "6", Smart/Curtis follows up...)

     

    Smart/Curtis "The odds of that are a million to one."

     

    In comes Gopher with a sopping wet suitcase.

     

    "Would you believe, a 100 to one?"

     

    He hands it to Smart who opens it, finding indeed it's his.

     

    "Would you believe I'd like to get a lottery ticket?"

     

    PS - one upcoming, but being saved at the moment...

     

    That was a great one. Keith did a fanatastic Maxwell Smart. :yes:
