Re: The Last Word I never got that impression, and I read through (well the start of) a number of his posts. He was passionate about politics and wrote essays to defend his points. He also likes Noam Chomsky and quoted him a lot. My impression, rightly or wrongly, was that he felt that the rest of the boards was against him, politically speaking which I'm sure contributed to his epic posts/essays.

Re: Musings on Random Musings Well, according to my wikipedia link above, astrologers were the "backers" behind astronomers before science claimed them. And, anyway the discovery of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto would have as most, a marginal impact on the people of Earth anyway, so I can't imagine astrologers would care all that much. Remember that astrology was one of mankind's earliest disciplines.

Re: Musings on Random Musings I can't see it making that much different what label a celestial object is called, it is still going to have an affect on a person. Also, IIRC there are/were supposed to be seven prominent celestial objects, I can't see Pluto mattering there whatever label it is called, it is outside the scope, so to speak. Edit:
