Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now?
National Public Radio. I hate talk radio, but OddHat finds it soothing as his Mom had it on all the time, even when he was falling asleep. OddHat does not like music, especially loud music. I can only play my Rock when he isn't here.
I swear, he EVER lets the computer play "All Your Bases Are Belong to Us" again, I break out the Marilyn Manson.

MFH is the true Mastermind behind the genetically-engineered mosquitoes being released to combat Malaria in Third-World countries.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
I guess my question really belongs in this thread: What is a "Teabag Thread" ?

Cancer's location coordinates are a big fib: He really lives on Gilligan's Island !

Re: A Thread for Random Musings
I marvel that Dr. Anomaly's teabag thread has topped twenty replies without a single untoward comment. Go us!What is a "Teabag thread" ?

Re: WWYCD: The Mirror, Mirror Trap
WICCA: Is not even sure whether SHE is real and the Doppleganger is the fake, or vice versa. She would concentrate her magic on dispelling the mirror. Makes more sense.
All my characters would not concentrate on the Doppelganger. They would try to destroy or dispell the mirror.

Re: Super Names
Has anyone used the namw Wicca yet ? I haven't read this whole thread. This name was invented by OddHat for my dimension-travelling, MPP Mystic character.

Re: WWYCD: The Vampire Who Doesn't Want to be a Vampire Anymore
The only one of my characters who might be able to help is WICCA.
She would transport the Vampire back before the time she was transformed, and then just aid the girl so it never happens in the first place, in as many realities as possible.

Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat
Mom and Dad survive their 10,000th "Chutes and Ladders" game (with me. Was my favorite. We played a game just before bedtime every night. They LONGED to cheat, but you CAN'T. )
NT: What is your favorite item of clothing ?

Re: A Day in the Life Of...
OddHat and I once tried an ordinary day in the life, and it was DULL. It did not work. Day to day stuff is better relegated to an almost always offscreen thing in our experience.

Re: WWY(Other)CD: If you became a villain?
Can't really answer as to WWMOCD because I never have more than one character at a time per campaign. Since my characters don't know each other, they would fight the rogue character as they would any other villain. If my one Millennial Master Mind Flair became Mind Flayer, then Look Out - that world has a new Menton.

Re: All Flesh Must Be Eaten
I think the Ophideon Plague in the adventure "Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth" produced something similar to a Zombie attack. In this adventure, Plague victims became rabid berzerkers determined to infect as many others as possible and to destroy. You might check that out.

Re: A Thread for Random Musings
http://www.andrewsullivan.com:"[W]hen Americans and Brits are actually presented with genuine conservatism - the kind exemplified by Reagan and Thatcher or Gingrich in 1994 - they respond. Explain to people that freedom matters, and why, and they will back it. The culprit here is George W. Bush. What he has done is provide a form of Christianist socialism, and glibly presented it as the continuation of the conservative tradition. He has thereby in one stroke delegitimized conservatism itself by falsely claiming its mantle, and also done the damage that socialists normally do to a society's self-respect, governmental functioning, public finances and individual liberty. It will take a generation to recover. Jonah Goldberg, in a moment of candor last year, predicted that Bush's re-election would be terrible for the conservative movement. He was right. But he voted for the guy. And that was part of conservatism's suicide as well."
Don't blame me - I voted for Zornwil !

Re: Musings on Random Musings
Sorry Doc, but I'm not even the eldest poster !Curse you' date=' woman! (shakes fist) How [i']dare[/i] you point out I'm younger than some other poster! Don't you know what that does to my ability to credibly complain about my age, "those kids" and such?!?( )

Re: Musings on Random Musings
Please don't start a discussion like this...every time I look back on problems in my childhood' date=' my teen years, my early twenties -- things that were major crisis, things that tore me up for weeks or months -- I realize now how simple it would be to deal with those [i']now[/i], and I start getting depressed by the fact we never have the relevant experience when we need it, only after, and that starts reminding me how old I'm getting...Don't worry Doc: You'll always be four years younger than me.
