  1. Re: M&M to HERO Fantastic! Drop me a PM as soon as it's done! It'll be an incredibly useful conversion to have and share.
  2. Re: Classifying Supers Neil if you ever expand upon this PM me as I'd like to reproduce it on my website!
  3. Re: M&M to HERO This looks good work so far Phil. Once you've completed it I'd love to host it on my website too!
  4. Re: Need help with a Group name. If the team is going for colour coded uniforms why not Spectra? Unless there's already an organisation with that name!
  5. Re: Superman Returns Score I've listened to both scores again and my personal preference is still for the original score, but by the narrowest of margins.
  6. Re: Best Superhero Magic Supplement Apart from the books I already ordered have which other 'ONE' would you consider an essential purchase? Obviously I'm not looking for organisations or character writeups etc.
  7. Re: Best Superhero Magic Supplement I've bought the DC Magic sourcebook (brand new!) and the Mystic Masters book over the last week. Have got the Realms of Magic ebooks too so should be set for pretty much anything. I take it that the other books mentioned were more about organisations, characters and spell books, etc. rather than primarily discourses on superhero magic?
  8. Re: Best Superhero Magic Supplement I've pretty much got my own ideas for magical organisations and plots, etc. So I'm really just interested in the application of magic in the superhero genre. Taking this iinto consideration I'm assuming that the recommended books are Mystic Masters (HERO), Realms of Magic (TSR), and the Magic Sourcebook (Mayfair Games). Would this be correct?
  9. Re: M&M to HERO Anyone considered posting the conversion 'rules' from M&M 2e to HERO 5th?
  10. Re: Best Superhero Magic Supplement Very useful advice. I had a sneaking suspicion that Mystic Masters may have been the way to go!
  11. I'm wanting to introduce more magic into one of my superhero campaign settings and was wondering which superhero magic sourcebook would be the most adaptable to any superhero rpg. I'm aware of Hero Games Mystic Masters, Mystic World, Ultimate Mystic, and Ultimate Super Mage as well as the Realms of Magic books for the old TSR Marvel Super Heroes game. What would you recommend from personal experience. FYI the campaign I'm currently running uses Mutants & Masterminds 2e.
  12. Re: Superhero Logos I can always wait for you to save up some shiny coins!
  13. Re: Superhero Logos Just a couple more logos that I've created. League of Freedom Fighters shield. Fan logo of an official M&M organisation.
  14. Re: Project Genesis website I've started toying with the idea of quarterly (or maybe even monthly) competitions to increase the usage of the Project Genesis forum. The general idea of the competitions would be to make an entry (based upon the competition theme) and at the end of the quarter (or month) the best entry would win one of the following 'prizes': A superhero logo (designed by me) A set of road sections tiles (pdf format) 25mm building/scenery (again, designed by me) There would be no cash prizes, or rpg prizes as the only thing I can afford would be time. Would this type of thing encourage you to use the forum more often?
  15. Re: Superhero Logos It usually works out at about US $15 per hour. If you have a specific font in mind that I do not possess then that would have to be supplied by yourself. Simple logos take about 30 minutes. Complex ones take anything up to and beyond 4 hours (the Argo logo for example). If you PM me with your idea, colours, graphical style, etc. I'll be able to give you a better idea of the cost. If there's a particular style you wish to emulate then point me in the direction of the artwork. Payments would be 50% up front followed by the final 50% after receipt of the final proof. All payments would go through my PayPal account. Hope that answers your questions. Cheers, SB
  16. Just thought I'd 'drop off' a few example logos I've worked on in the past. I'm available for comissions if you like what you see. Fan logo of an official M&M NPC. For a PC. Fan logo of an official M&M NPC. For a PC. Fan logo of an official M&M NPC. Fan logo of an official M&M NPC. For a PC. A signature graphic. For a PC. For a PC.
  17. Re: Game Maps and Counters Exchange You could always check out the Resources and Projects sections of my site for useful downloads.
  18. Re: Random Name Generator It probably wasn't this one but I started working on an adaptation of NameMage for generating superhero names. You can find the current files in my Projects section.
  19. Re: Character Cutouts I'm surprised you haven't stumbled across the miniatures I have for download on my site (available from the Resources section). There's also a tutorial on creating your own paper minis using Heromachine too.
  20. Re: Project Genesis website Since I last posted to this thread the website now has over one-hundred and fifty articles related to roleplaying and the superhero genre. The forum is also gaining in popularity and will shortly have a total of six different Play-by-Post games running.
  21. Re: Project Genesis website The Project Genesis website has undergone a major facelift and update in the past week(s). The site now features customisable font sizes and should be usable at almost any screen resolution. The site has two new Play-By-Post roleplay games starting in the New Year. Check out the site and then visit the forum to register your interest. Whilst your visitng the site why not register on the Project Genesis mailing list to receive (bi-)monthly news updates? 22. System Conversions Those of you with a passing familiarity with the site know that I have a fairly comprehensive set of links to system conversion guidelines between various RPG games. What I would like to develop is something a little more comprehensive than purely stat and 'guess the rest' conversions. I'd like to be able to create several reference pages that deal with game system specifics i.e. a ranking system that allows you to compare difficulty ratings between systems, stats (obviously), skills, powers, etc. Unfortunately there's no way I can do this on my own and was hoping that some help may be forthcoming from people with expertise in various systems that would be willing to donate some of their time to this project. If you feel you can help please let me know!
  23. Re: Project Genesis website If you've not visited the site yet, or have not returned within the past week or two, you will find lots of new information and articles to peruse. Remember you can always join the forum and drop off suggestions and sources of information to be included in further updates.
