My suggestion is to run a very low powered game at first. start your players off at 50+50 (100 total points) that way thay cant afford to min max beyond a certain point.

This will essentiallu force them to learn the system to survive, and it wi also teach them over time the effectiveness of the numbers in the system. after getting some experience, and understanding that with your Gm style, min maxing is not necessary, there characters will become more reasonable over time and thwn you will be able to increase your starting points for future campaigns.

yes, the fact that they are still siblings is encouraging.  However I would rather they not change the characters look so drastically.  In any case, all the previews I have seen make the movie look like a rental at best and that's when there's nothing else to watch, so I think the race issue is the least of the problems this movie might have.

The problem with this is that a lot of the people making these threats are entittled teenagers who absolutely have no intention of making good on those threats. They are simply empowered by the anonimity on the internet. These are the same a-hole kids who use homophobic and racist comments while playing online for shock value. The problem is how do we separate the jerk kids who are just trying to be shocking from the actual sociopaths who might actually make good on their threats.

(If you ask me, i think all these jerk kids need to spend a couple of weeks in the pokey, straighten their asses out right quick)

THIS is true sexism.  This is the true problem.  Not picture of naked barbarian hotties in niche TTRPGs, but those institutions who still see and treat women as second class citizens.  This is the sort of thing I have a problem with.  I have a problem with the fact that Law Enforcement organizations all across the US seem to be prejudiced against certain minorities and ethnicities.  Not with the fact that minorities and certain ethnicities are underrepresented in TTRPGs (they aren't).

I have a problem with the fact that there are religiously affiliated organizations attempting to block the progression of marriage rights between members of the LGBT community.  Not with the fact that language in TTRPGs seem to ignore their existence. (it doesn't)

When a person is prevented from advancing in their field.  From living safely in their neighborhood.  Or from marrying the love of their life, there's a problem.  That's what I oppose.  It seems to me that people these days are trying to create problems where none exists or where the problem is not discriminatory (as in preventing someone from Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness).  Perhaps I have a different perspective because I have actually witnessed the KKK burn a cross in a neighbors yard, and this trend of social media activision where people gnash their teeth because of large breasts in a videogame has upset some feminists.  They have a right to be upset sure, but there are real cases of discrimination still out there.  Find and deal with those first.

My initial intent was to show that even the original creator of WW had a fluid idea of her core concepts. Not only was she a strong woman fully in command of her own destiny, but also that she could be vulerable and could be subjegated. WW can be a sex kitten and a stong woman at the same time. The two concepts are not mutually exclusive.

If an artist today drew WW in some of the poses and situations that Moulten put her in, there would be massive outrage. I would posit that those people are not taking her original concept into consideration and in fact, the majority of them are likely ignorant of how she was originaally portrayed and a percentage of them would be shocked and dismayed to discover it.

That doesnt give carte blanche for modern writers to destroy WW feminist ideals. Not at all, but neither do those ideals exclude artissts from portraying Diana as sexy. And many peoples idea of sexy vary considerably. What i personally consider sensual portrayal of sex appeal, many would find to be pornographic. One artists portrayal of WW might appeal to me, yet offend someone else. Whose perception of WW is the correct one?

Oh absolutely there were "open world" games before GTA3, but it was specifically the execution of that openess which was praised.

Very much the same way that Doom was not the first FPS, but was the game that broke that genre wide open and created it's mainstream appeal.

This makes me sad.  I was a fiend for cartoons.  Saturday morning was my sabbath.  And yes, the bowl of brightly colored and artificially flavored sugar-rocks was an essential part of the experience.

I'm definitely thinking of some kind of manuevers system. Here is what I have so far, I say we work out a good system that adjusts CV in a way that tries to reflect what the manuever will do.

    Atmospheric Dogfighting Manuevers
    Manuever......OCV....DCV....Phase....Notes
    Jink..............N/A.....+3......1/2.......Dodge vs. All attacks, abort
You manuever side-to-side to avoid fire
Juke.............N/A.....+5......1/2.......-2 Piloting roll, Dodge vs. all, abort
You rapidly and erratically manuever to avoid fire
    Roll...............+1......+2......1/2.......+1 Piloting roll
    A simple sideways roll
Barrell Roll.......0.......+1......1/2.......+1 Piloting roll, can reverse tail, stall
AKA "Emmelman", you fly upwards and loop around behind your tail
Reverse B.R. ..+1......+2......1..........-2 Piloting roll, can reverse tail, stall
A more advanced manuever, you fly downwards and loop upwards
    Overtake........+1......-1......1/2.......+1 Piloting roll
    Full speed ahead
Undertake......+2......+1......1/2.......-2 Piloting roll, can reverse tail, stall
You slow down and let your tail pass you
Sideways S ...-1......+3.......1/2.......-2 Piloting roll, can reverse tail
An advanced manuever, you roll to the side then fly up and down behind
    your tail
    Dive .............+1.....+1.......1/2.......-1 Piloting roll, stall
You dive down from above towards your target
    Feint Roll........-1.....+1.......1/2.......
You fake a roll and slow down to reverse tail
    Corkscrew ......-1.....+2.......1/2.......-1 Piloting roll
You spin while diving or climbing, making for a harder target
    Zero-G Dogfighting Manuevers
    Manuever......OCV....DCV....Phase....Notes
    Jink..............N/A.....+3......1/2.......Dodge vs. All attacks, abort
You manuever side-to-side to avoid fire
Juke.............N/A.....+5......1/2.......-2 Piloting roll, Dodge vs. all, abort
You rapidly and erratically manuever to avoid fire
    Roll...............+1......+2......1/2........Manuever
    A simple sideways roll
Barrell Roll.......0.......+1......1/2.......+1 Piloting roll, can reverse tail
AKA "Emmelman", you fly upwards and loop around behind your tail
    Overtake........+1......-1......1/2.......+1 Piloting roll
    Full speed ahead
Undertake......+2......+1......1/2.......-2 Piloting roll, can reverse tail
You slow down and let your tail pass you
Sideways S ...-1......+3.......1/2.......-2 Piloting roll, can reverse tail
An advanced manuever, you roll to the side then fly up and down behind
    your tail
    Feint Roll........-1.....+1.......1/2.......
You fake a roll and slow down to reverse tail
    Strafe...........+2.......0.......1/2........-1 Piloting roll
You retain speed in one direction while facing/firing another
Orbit.............+1......+1......1/2.......Must be 2x speed of target to retain
You rotate around a slower-moving target

Manuevers adjust your OCV, DCV, and/or apply a bonus to piloting rolls made. These work just like normal Combat Manuevers -- any bonuses granted remain until you perform a different manuever.

Piloting Rolls: These manuevers use a modified version of the HERO Dogfighting Rules. Every phase pilots make a Combat Piloting roll. If they are engaged in a dogfight, this is a skill vs. skill roll. These rolls are made after the pilot declares his actions for the round. If he succeeds, he performs his action as normal. If he fails, he loses any CV adjustment from the manuever, and anyone attempting to tail this pilot succeeds (so long as they succeeded their skill check.) In atmospheric flight, the craft can even stall (GM's option) on some manuevers. A stalled craft is out of control, and falls at its maximum movement speed until a piloting roll succeeds (or it hits the ground and takes falling damage.) The piloting roll is adjusted by conditional modifiers (which I am looking for rules or a table covering these.)

In a skill vs. skill roll, both pilots can succeed, however the one who succeeds by the most gains the advantage. The winner of the roll automatically gains tail (is attacking from the target's rear) so long as they were intending to do so. Tail is broken if the winner was trying to do so. Tail is reversed if the winner was tailed and performed a manuever capable of doing so.

Well, I think I have a good idea, but I need serious help writing it up in any sensible way.
