  1. Easy. Major Victory : Pride - Saliva (patriotic butt-kicking song)
  2. Lookin' good. Can't wait to see the rest of the team. How about Sharpshooter for the weapon character?
  3. Great idea, wcw, but there are two problems with it. One: some (if not most) of the original Champions are owned by someone other than DOJ/Hero. And Two: Alex Ross, while an incredible artist, is a whiny tool ("I'll never draw the JLA again because Kyle Rayner ISN'T GL... and he sucks"). Ross has far too much power in comics today. C'mon, he's just a painter, not the Messiah of the industry. If the Hardcover could be done, I'd rather see the cover honors go to old Hero friend and contributor George Perez.
  4. Good points, one and all. But you're all missing one extremely important point. The current-era Supes has been active for about 10 years. Thor is a warrior god of a warrior people who has about 1500 years of combat exp. under that Belt of Strength. Supes is truly the icon of superhero icons, but Thor's just a darn good fighter who's seen it all. Case closed.
  5. My apologies for veering way off the current conversation, but since I haven't gotten MC yet I have a question. So, to any of you lucky Bastiches out ther who have the book, how does it match up against the only decent pub. for Hero from Gold Rush, "San Angelo"?
  6. Actually, Cap's strength increase came during the semi-legendary "Secret Empire" run during the '70's. I believe that Kirby was doing the artistic chores at that time. (BTW, the leader of the Empire was Nixon!).
  7. Oops! Sorry, couldn't attach more than one file. Here's the style.
  8. Well, after spending several hours digging through old files and converting to 5th ed., here's my version. Since we all have HD, I'll just attach the file, rather than taking up space here. Also, I'm attaching the martial art I created for Cap's shield fighting technique.
  9. While my own descriptive preference is the Avengers, within the parameters you've set I guess my campaign would be Power Co. (with some JLA adventures thrown in). My heroes are nominally the second most powerful team on the planet. As such, they tend to deal with country-level threats. Some of the characters in the campaign have been around for 15 years, but I've found in general JLA make for a better read than adventure.
