My house is available if need be, but I hear that @Killer Shrike has a killer game table to use. -

I printed out a copy of Beretta in preparation of Jaeger piloting her. I can always bring a copy if it's needed. -

I like this campaign story line and want to see it where it goes. While I'm fully engaged and committed to its progression, I do admit that my long-term memory failed me for some of the story details. Perhaps I've grown spoiled by your story recaps, but this is a case where a summary might help reorient us. Also you can utter the words RTFM, which are always fun to say. -

I have a partial conflict for our 25th game. The wife and I have been invited to a Chinese New Years celebration from 3 pm to whenever. I could come late, but since @L0rd_Magg0t already cannot attend do we want to bump our next game to February? -

Of this I'm certain. Gilgamesh has once again lost his Enki to the forces of darkness. Rest well warrior. I'm sure the Elder Things would never animate your corpse and have it shamble over to say farewell to Murgatroyd. -

Is it possible that Drew's death would remind Murgatroyd of something he's forgotten? FYI: I'm determining my December schedule. I'll likely be able to make a game on December 14, but there's a chance I'll be taking a road trip. I'll firm up my plans and let you know as soon as I can. -

Was the brutal death at least cinematic? Did we just have our Agent Coulson dies in the Avengers moment? Did Kilroy "permanently retire" so @King Red could bring in his next character? I'm looking forward to reading the game summary. Well, I suppose technically you didn't have a TPK without me, but you did have a K. If it *was* Kilroy you had a TKK - a Total Kilroy Kill. -

I'm unavailable for our November 16th game as I'll be attending another social event with my wife. I'm sure the ensuing shoot-em-up-special will be dramatic and cause for much regret. I'll see you fine folk again for the game on November 30th. Try and avoid a TPK. -
adventure Arc 4: Qlippothic Philosophic

I liked our big reveal this last session. If Chthonic elder things can't be number one in your life, then L'Deux on you. I think we set a record on party splits this session, but fortunately no one in the party was actually split. I look forward to the written recap. Here are my favorite highlights of the night: Drew's magic bullet against the Innati/demon Joey subduing the demon as only he can Jack being a big damn hero, rescuing Baretta, and giving her a healing potion Jack going down fighting in the El Dorado stairway The Drew and Jack buddy cop action movie. Drew: "Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs..." [I know you used another quote, but I forgot the exact one] Murgatroyd's discovery of Keyser "L'Deux" Soze. "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist." Kilroy's "Ask me about Belfagor" phone call to Section M. "Is this about Belfagor, Mr. Kilroy?" Murgatroyd having to drag Baretta to the teleportation gate so Joey can keep "subduing" the demon. Murgatroyd: "Baretta is surprisingly muscular." The gunfight at the Quantico corral. "Was that Albert Armos?" Joey taking a bullet for Murgatroyd and then asking for a raise Idris the wizard throwing sass at the hunters. "How were you restraining the demon?" After hearing the explanation: "Of course hunters would use such crudely practical means. I've got this." -

I'm planning on being at tomorrow's game. It's been an interesting two weeks with my dog going to surgery to fix a compressed disc in her neck and the playing nurse as she recovers. -

I'll see you tomorrow at 5 PM/ Remember, possession is 9/10ths of what Jack saw. -
Navigate to your Campaign Rules > Settings tab. The Equipment section has a Monetary Units field whose default value you can remove. Set the decimal places to 0. Save the campaign rules. You'll probably want to update your default campaign rules for certain types of play.

An Unconventional Solutions Interlude Or Murgatroyd get Mega Trolled Murgatroyd: "I have been reading those four em sites you suggested, and I think I've found us some new hunters to recruit." Joey: "Forums, Mr. Murgatroyd. They're called forums." Murgatroyd: "Four ems. That's what I said." Joey: "Never mind, Mr. Murgatroyd. Who did you find?" Murgatroyd: "Sam and Dean Winchester. They're prolific hunters who've faced angels, demons, vampires, and werewolves..." Joey: "How did you find them, Mr. Murgatroyd?" Murgatroyd: "I did just what you told me to, Joey. I went to the four ems, typed in "Supernatural hunters", and found pages and pages about them. It was surprisingly easy." Joey: <Fist pumps the air> "Yes! Yes! Awesome! Thank you, Mr. Murgatroyd." <Does a victory dance> Murgatroyd: <Confused by Joey's display> "Thank you for what?" Joey: "Oh, ah, for finding such awesome recruits." <heads out into the hall> "I'm gonna tell Mr. Altman about them." Murgatroyd: <Calling into the hall> "But I haven't finished telling you about them..." <Rolls his eyes> "Kids today. They're so impatient." <Goes back to reading about the Winchester brothers> Joey: <From further down the hall> "I win! I win! I win! You owe me." Drew: <From his office down the hall> "Enjoy the twenty bucks, kid." Joey: "Yes!" Drew: "Now enjoy telling him why we can't recruit them." Joey: "What? Why me?" Drew: "Because that's what I just paid you to do. Have fun, kid. Best twenty bucks I ever spent." <The sound of a door closing> Murgatroyd: <Calling down the hall> "I think Jack will really like these guys. They have a cool black car." Joey: "Shit." -

I'm curious if any of the other PCs have in-character connections to any of these cities. Anyone have or want a backstory in the heart land of America? Where was Beretta's first final girl experience? Where did Jack get recruited into the Ordo? Have Drew and Joey always been southern California boys? Where did Kilroy make his real estate empire? Given that we've only had two months of in-game down-time to setup our business and acquire real estate, I suspect we currently only have one or two properties, unless people are willing to help buy them with XP.
