What if he created a very deep hole in the ground? Like deep enough you can't get out of without leaping or flying or climbing?

This seems like a variation on the Magneto powerset - except vs. earth instead of metal - like Terra from the original New Teen Titans. You could create an entire Framework (Multipower or VPP) worth of different effects that could be created with such a power. The basic limitation being that substance X (X being 'earth' in this case) is needed to to use the power. The issue I ran into when trying to build a Magneto-lite character years ago was defining how easily the character could destroy 'metal' to then be used as the means for other effects (example: to use TK to grab a target the character had to have metal available to grab them with unless they were made of metal like Iron-Man, Wolverine or Colossus).

We had a menatlist in one of our early groups who the GM allowed to have an RKA based on ego... A mental killing attack. Forget his name but I've been leery of allowing that combination after that. I wasn't the GM. Think I was playing a goofy animal guy at the time.

Im recreating Mudman from an old game of mine back in the 4e days. I cant remember how he was built but I do remember some of his abilities. He could turn the dirt beneath your feet into mud or remove it completely in large quantities to make a pit of mud or drop it on top of you. Any ideas on how to do this?

What are the coolest characters you have seen from other players? For me it was the steampunk gadgeteer that a current player created. Another was Mudman, a guy who threw mud at people. Yep. At least we hoped it was mud.

Lets hear about the characters you've enjoyed seeing others create.

I like several of mine but my favorites would have to be Lunatica, a female speed brick and Roadblock a male brick. They were pretty fun. I also had a supersleuth named Zed who was very fun.

This old man who was our neighbor when I was a kid. His name was Marc Moles and he was a World War One veteran. He was ver grouchy, mostly blind and deaf but he still drove a car and was still a great shot with a rifle. He gets my vote.

I currently have the ability to end a conversation when I enter it. I can also make people leave the room at the same time. What would this power be?

I'm working on a villain with electrical powers and was trying to think of some creative ways to use his powers aside from throwing lightning bolts.

You may want to include a super bimbo type to the team, a real busty beauty but total airhead.

There's a lot more than slowing people down or tripping them. To any person without shoes stepping on a d4 is quite excruciating

Maybe I should have mentioned the fact that we need a name. Kind of derogatory reflecting on the pathetic ability of the group.

The group wants to play a team of pathetic 'super' heroes. Similar to the Inferior Five or Mystery Men. We found a GM who is willing to run it for us even though we have a lot of players. The group consists of several reject heroes who have banded together. Some of the names are a bit insensitive but the not overtly so. The theme is that all the real heroes have disappeared and we are all that is left to defend the universe.

So far we have:

Retired Man: An aging Batman who lives in a nursing home. Very irritable. Has very random items in his utility belt.

Special Ed: An underwhelming average guy who is kind of good at dirty infighting but isn't fully sane. Thinks he is a professional wrestler.

Dogface: A scrawny werewolf who is really good at taking a beating and gets better the longer the fight goes on.

Two Tons of Fun: A fat guy with a little bit of strength and Density Increase. Very slow.

Rampaging Redneck: A dumb hick who has combat skills and an axe handle. Will spit tobacco juice in your eyes. He was a MLB prospect but it went down the tubes and he became the town drunk/protector of sleepy old Bomont, West Virginia.

Powder: A magical elfish girl who creates dust with varying properties. The magic powder isn't very powerful and its effects are quite random.

Blue Man: Yep. A blue guy who duplicates into three blue guys. Mute.

Peroxide Blonde: A really dumb pretty girl who has no abilities aside from dumb luck. Insane levels of dumb luck. Pretty good at stabbing with her nail file.

Guy in Charge: the leader who has a really good ability to strategize. He is physically disabled but has the power of near total invulnerability. He also has Danger Sense.
