  1. It should be fixed for iPad too. Hopefully, 1.1.3 will pass Apple's review process today.
  2. Alright, I found the issue with scrolling on iOS...I put a fix in the latest patch which I just pushed it into review. The 1.1.3 patch notes are available here - http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/96734-hero-system-mobile/?do=findComment&comment=2642800 The update should be hitting your devices within the next day or so.
  3. Hmm, that's a new one for me. I'll look into it ASAP but I will say that I do use Apple's Simulator to simulate an iPhone 6s and that behavior wasn't there. I've ran into a number of issues on real hardware that hasn't shown up in simulation. I'm feeling very frustrated right now over it...I'm going to have to buy a cheap iPhone to test on I think. At any rate, I really appreciate the bug reports!
  4. That's good news regarding being able to load the character. Out if curiosity, what platform are you running and where are you loading from (local, Google drive, iCloud etc). I'm trying to figure out where I need to focus my attention on for the character loading issues. What do you mean by not being able to scroll down? Specifically, what screen/tab are you looking at and what do you think you're not seeing? FYI - I use your Clark Kent write-up all the time while testing...there's so many powers! I use him like a worst case scenario in terms of having a huge list of things to display
  5. It should work for MPs just as well as non MP power. There's a lot of cases to think of like a straight die roll vs a HA, compound powers, linked....it may be a pretty tricky thing to do. I've been thinking of what I want to do here...ultimately I would like to generate a table for the user that shows the breakdown. That may be a ways off though so a simple fix would be to just order the dice...manual intervention would be required so I wouldn't call it ideal. I've added the "Explosion table" to the feature request list.
  6. Added to the list.
  7. Interesting, well I found 2 bugs last night...one for iPad and one for iOS. I would suggest you wait for the 1.1.2. patch to be rolled out.
  8. OK...so I spent some time hacking around last night and I squashed a couple of bugs with the iPad/iOS character loading code. The Simulator is very hard to test with for this particular use case but I think I'm continuing to improve the reliability of the load on that platform. I'm pushing a tiny update as we speak, it should be available later today. 1.1.2 patch notes - http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/96734-hero-system-mobile/?do=findComment&comment=2642800
  9. Off the top of my head I would suggest you flush any saved characters: Settings -> Clear on the "Loaded character" option. You may want to consider clearing all your saved data to be sure. So I understand, loading from Google Drive is closing your app regardless of platform? Was the iPad version ever working for you? I've been loading off of Google Drive for my own testing on Android it it's working for me.
  10. FYI - I'm tracking feature requests at http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/96734-hero-system-mobile/?do=findComment&comment=2642798 If I've missed anything or you have a new request to add please let me know
  11. I've pushed the 1.1.1 patch to the Play Store/App Store so you should be seeing them over the next day or so. Full 1.1.1 patch notes are available here - http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/96734-hero-system-mobile/?do=findComment&comment=2642800 Android is typically faster at reviewing than Apple so you may see the update as soon as tonight for Android.
  12. Oh, I'm still working on the next build so it's not available yet...I have some stuff to do around the house today so it'll probably be tomorrow or Monday. I just put in something for people with fat fingers......
  13. That's a bug, when I was putting in the option to use 5th or 6th edition stun multipliers I fixed it.
  14. Thanks for checking into that
  15. Haha...well, you're like 5 minutes too late because I just made the setting to select 5th edition or 6th edition rules. I'll see if I can get support for stun ranges as you suggest in a future release.
  16. That's it, it's going in now
  17. "Hey, it looks like you're rolling for damage..."
  18. That makes sense and would probably be easiest. I never designed the app with tablets in mind TBH. I should probably fire up my ancient Asus tablet and see how it looks.
  19. Right, I understand what you're saying now. I have actually been mulling over the idea of adding a setting to use 5th or 6th rules for this reason. It wouldn't do too much at first: - switch KA stun multiplier rolls - change knock back to use inches or meters That's all you can think of that would change from the perspective of the app. Fyi - I still play 5th but I like the way 6th handles the stun lottery better
  20. There's some great ideas here. I would totally be game to try and integrate the app with HCM but I have a lot of work to do between here and there. I'm actually fairly well versed in client/server application programming from my day job and own a domain we could use to handle messaging etc. The possibilities are endless As I called out in my first post; this is all still very much a work in progress so things are evolving and changing. I originally envisioned just creating a set of GM tools but the project morphed into a more general HERO app when I started playing around with importing characters from HD. It's actually more player focused now than GM focused. Either way I really like your suggestions and I'll probably start trying to implement them soon. If I can reliably do things like determine the amount of dice to roll for powers and equipment it would be a good first step...I have some concerns around compound powers and linked powers...those are probably too complicated to handle automagically.
  21. I was thinking about your request to show hit locations last night and I think it makes the most sense to show the hit locations table on the hit tool...maybe in a tab to not overwhelm the form.
  22. I could add a "Target DCV" slider to the hit tool, I would need to know by how much I made the roll in order to figure out the number of hits.
  23. I think that would be stepping on the toes of the Hero Combat Manager a bit too much. I don't want to recreate something that already exists I don't think I understand this one, the system will internally generate a random number between 1-3 for the stun multiplier of non-hit location based KAs. I don't show the internally generated number, that may be confusing for people.
  24. Noted, I'll see what I can do to accommodate the fat fingered (as I am too)
  25. Well, the damage tool will roll hit locations for you if you tell it to. Did you just want the reference available to you when you gamed? I could add it to the "Combat" tab of the character tool. I'm not sure what else that would entail...did you have any ideas?
