If the player wnated to add more powers they could since it's only limited by imagination are thier any powers or abilities that might not be suitable? Or could the player have to go on sort of "quest" to open additoinal powers? And does anybody have any suggestions on some good Green Lantern comics to start with? is it still currently running?

Ok I've never read DC comics much but recently I've developed a bit of an interest in the Green Lantern. I know a little bit of the history about the character. And I've been tossing around the idea of my players taking part in the Green Lantern Corps unfortunately I don't know alot about the powers of the rings potental other than I can have them design almost any power for thier rings. I did a search on the boards here and found some useful info on the corps and how the rings could be designed..e.g. recharging, weakness to the color yellow,etc....

Yeah it is pretty good for being d20:p but I still would rahter use HERO. Since I have FH the Conan magic system didn't seem like it would be too hard to convert.

Sure once I get it finished I'll post what I have. I know it can use improvements and I'd like to get some suggestions on it.

So has anybody picked up the new Conan book? Or better yet has anybody worked on a HERO conversion? I'm working on one, but since I'm still new too HERO I figured I would look here and see if anybody else has started. So I could steal...err..borrow thier idea's.

I was thinking of converting this type of Jedi for my game. I'm just having some questions on how to make this power for linking to people/objects I was considering basing on the mind link power. Yes I've found some good stuff on here to stea....errr borrow:D . But I do have another newbie question. I was thinking of using a VPP for building and using force powers. And I want have the player able to spend experience on increasing the amount of points available in that pool to represent the Jedi's growth in the force. I don't have the book in front of me but I was wondering if this is possible. Would you use the point cost calculation to add additional points to this pool? say a player has a 45 point pool and wanted to increase it to a 50 points or even 55 pints to to reflect additional training. I would think he would pay the cost for the additional 5-10 points what does everyone think?

I've been playing my Star Wars Knights of the Old Replublic game and it got me thinking about starting a game set in that Era. Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with that Era so I call upon the great knowledge of this board for help. Are there any books or websites I can use for information on the Old Republic Era? Also I need to books or websites they don't have to be RPG books but good information on the Star Wars usniverse I'm not familar with the layout of that universe or all of the alien species and vehicles. Is it just me or is anyone else salivating over the release of this product. I'm still somewhat new to the HERO game system and can hardly wait for the new release. I've been looking for an alternative fantasy system to replace our current sytem. I talked to some of my players at our last game session and the general concensus is that as much as we like D&D the 3e system just doesn't do it for us. And with the pending realese of 3.5 no one seems even remotely interested in purchasing the new books. So I will make the switch to HERO:D I've been use the resources here and on the web to steal...err I mean put together a FH game. It's just amazing what can be done with this system. I'll be putting together racial and class packages for my players to browse over to help them out. Those that want to use them can and those that want to build a character from scratch can. But this is torturous having to wait for it to hit the stores the more I read about it the more I must have it! And after seeing the cover...drool....I awake in the middle of the night going through withdrawl symptons! this book must be mine! oh no the shaking is begining again...... must look at cover again....
