  1. Re: The Zodiac Group

While that is a valid point, I gave him watched by his own team because it seemed appropriate and also after consulting Conquers, Killers, and Crooks nearly all of Dr. Destroyer's agents have it as well as the War Machine being watched by the Warlord. So I figured it was o.k. for him to have a hunted (watched) by his own team as he is paranoid and often unreliable.

  2. Re: Any interest in a Zodiac villain group?

Instead of schizophrenia' date=' have you thought about either bipolar or multiple personalities? [/quote']

Sounds like that Mutants and Masterminds villian Moodswing. He had like seven different personalities running around inside his head and each gave him a different personality but also a different set of powers. If I remember right one gave him pyrokinesis, while another gave him mind control and so on. That would be a cool twist on the old Gemini maybe not seven different personalities but maybe two or three (maybe the third could be a hybrid of the other two).

  3. Re: Heroic battles

Had a group fight a bunch of villians at NASA once, they were trying to steal a part of the new rocket. I remeber this one because during the fight if the heroes weren't careful they would destroy something that would take decades and millions of dollars to replace...also one of them got knocked across the facility and into a rocket. It malfunctioned because of that and launched him into space...he didn't have an form of Life Support, so sad.

  4. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

Last night's game. Our group was attacked by a pair of low grade demons, think human sized Ents and you get a pretty good idea of what they looked like.

Joah (Lobo-like character): I wrap my chain around it so it can't move.

GM: Ok...it tries and fails to break free.

Joah: Hook it to my bike and fly straight up until I can't go any higher.

    GM: Ok, then what?

Joah: Leap off my bike and ride the demon to the ground like a surf-board.

GM: :nonp:...Ooook, I need everyone's dice to figure damage.

    (Some time later)

GM: Joah, it almost killed you doing that, you know that right?

Joah: Yeah but it didn't so my character stands up lights his cigar, looks straight up and says "Can somebody fly me back up to my bike?"

  5. Re: Any interest in a Zodiac villain group?

Zodiac groups are always fun because I believe that they give you a rather large, related group of villians to pull from and thus don't have to worry about the PC's fighting the same group over and over since you can mix and match. So I'm in.

Let me know if anyone else express interest.

  6. Re: Recruiting Drive: The Overlords (Galactic Champions)

    Orion (Super Alien Martial Artist)

Background: The being known as Orion is a mystery, his past is all but unknown. What is known is that he is a master of over twenty different martial arts from across the galaxy. One thing is certain above all others, he lives only to fight and increase his own power. How Arcane gained his serve and continues to keep it is a mystery but one thing is certain, Orion is a dangerous new addition to the Overlords.

Personality/Motivation: Orion is generally uncomplicated for a martial artist, seeking only to increase his power and knowledge. He will play the part of the grateful and enlightened student if it gets him what he wants but in truth he lacks any sense of morals. Orion views most of the other members of the team as stepping stones to greater power, he is more than willing to remove on of them if it becomes necessary. Only Arcane remains above his reproach and some say it is because he is only scanning for a weakness in his defenses.

Powers/Tactics: Orion prefers to close on a target and engage them in hand to hand since he does the most good there. He will close the distance most likely by using his Hyper-Step technique from his Void Fist style. Once close he adopts a fighting style that seems best suited to defeating his opponent. If he spots someone with a martial artist look to them he attacks them almost to the exclusion of all others. If he can not close he uses his Comet Punch from his Iron Nebula style to attack at range.

Appearance: Orion’s overall appearance resembles a normal human with some minor differences. The most obvious of which is that his skin is a bluish-green color and that he lacks any hair on his head or face. The only other difference is only obvious when he speaks, he possess rows of teeth much like a shark and while he can’t conceal this feature someone would have to be within arms reach of him to truly notice them.

Ah CoC now that brings back memories...(flashback effect and noise)

The group had just escaped from a...rather unpleasant mission and were being followed by this evil spirit. The spirit would pop-up at random moments and cause havic. Anyways, we were like ten mintues into the night's game and the group was on an airplane headed to England when the spirit took control of a passenger and prepared to attack them.

Thomas (my dad's character): Wait, what do we have to do to get rid of you?

Spirit: (Thinking for a second) Give me a sacrifice of life.

Thomas: Any life will do I take it?

    Spirit: Yes (Evil Grin).

Thomas shots himself in the head.

GM picks his jaw up off the floor and cancels the rest of the game for the night.

GM: I never saw that coming you just killed my whole plot line for like the next three games.

My Dad: Teach you to try and out crazy me!
