    Batgirl 250

Re: Batgirl 250 Most of my 350 builds have OIHID or are OIF/OAF and they generally don't need to be in their heroic ID or even need their foci to trash a pack of street level thugs.

Re: Batgirl 250 Yeah, she just got a new comic and she is in the outsiders.
  3. Re: Superheroing in the Stargate SG-1 Universe Regular humans can gain super powers, and some already fight like they do have super powers(Jack being a prime example), in one episode SG-1 got a hold of these nifty bracers which inject a virus which made the wearer super-human in every way, including how much they ate and it also hopped up there aggressiveness when it was at it's peak.

  5. Re: Ben 10: Alien Force I have no idea, me and several others have warned him that the GM in question is incredibly lethal, this hasn't change his mind any so we are just going to let him play his character but I want to at least give him a better build than he has... I think he might think it is normal for Hero system characters to die even, though it isn't.
  6. Re: Ben 10: Alien Force What would the full grown Gwen from the episode Ben 10,000 look like? The way I saw it she had the potential for an insane -2 1/2 modifier, OIHID gestures (both hands possibly complex) incantations (possibly complex, I'll be honest I don't remember the episode that well) costs End, OIF, all of that was simply for stats defenses and movement, her other powers were OIF, incantations, gestures, which is still a -1 of which most were in a MP anyhow. I ask because my friend built a character trying to resemble Gwen, but he didn't do so well, so I decided to help him out, I'm actually not a big fan of the show, none of the characters are very interesting to me. I will admit I feel the desire to punish the GM, I've never been in any games involving this individual but his style isn't very good and he is going to kill my friend, repeatedly in-game, if I don't do something.
  7. Re: Danny Phantom -- Which ID limitation, if any? He does have a mighty number of powers to work with, a veritable tool shed. I joined a game and decided I wanted to play Danny Phantom, but given the standards of my gaming group I didn't want to listen to their crap. I built him OHID on his Stats only (it wasn't easy either he is quite powerful physically speaking I judge roughly 45 str 23-26 dex 30+ con and at least a 5 speed maybe more, plus none of his powers are cheap since almost all of them that aren't attacks are usable simultaneously or area effect.) I built his attacks in a MP and his non stat powers in an EC, although if the GM had allowed I would have put his stats there too, as he doesn't quite fit in 350, at least not if you want to maintain decent DCs. That build was definitely near the end of the series since I didn't have uncontrollable on any of his powers, as that was his first major disad to his non-stats based powers, originally he wasn't very tough or strong nor could he create energy blasts but as his power grew he gained enough to be almost Justice League grade (punches through hardened steel easily enough as Vlad's base is made of the stuff and they throw each other through that like it's tissue paper) at least on the low end. I actually came up short in the stats area anyhow. Originally I think he started off as a 250, and gained so much experience because of daily ghost fighting, that he was probably in the low to mid 400 point range when all was said and done (which if each episode was a session that is about right) He is also really smart for a 14 year old (he can land a space shuttle and outwit guys 20+ years older than himself, evidenced by almost every fight with Vlad and the episode "Reality Trip") I gave him an 18, he did seem to have trouble in school, until he got better at managing his time but so did Spiderman, and Spidey is in the top 25 of earth's smartest.
  8. Re: Help with a Character Concept – The Energy Form I watched Danny Phantom (what it was really well written cartoon for a Nick show) I would make him OIHID, the only powers I haven't seen him use are the ones he has issues controlling, those being his cryokinesis (cold projection) duplication (he never did get this one right as far as I could tell) ghostly wail (cone attack, probably killing as it destroyed everything and anyone not wearing something to counteract it which amounted to 2 people, he could do it once maybe twice by the end of the series before reverting to human) and any of his base line super human statistics (he was super strong fast durable etc). When I actually tried building him I found the number of powers he possessed was ridiculous and difficult to build at 350, which leads me to believe he was at first 350 and had about 100+ XP by the time the series was done.
