Re: Female Master Villains
Sedna's a good call, LL, as is Baba Yaga. And while the Engineer may be loopy, the scale of her plans ("I'll collect all the metal in the city and use it to build an orbital beanstalk to show people how wonderful SCIENCE! is") definitely puts her in that territory.
But as for the person in your spoiler? Nah! How can someone who was such a sweet little girl grow up to be a master villain?

Re: Female Master Villains
Yeah, it's nice that we have V'han and Gravitar in the mix of CU villains; Steve did a good job of expanding that section of the world. If my incredibly fuzzy memory recalls correctly, Coatilue from "To Serve and Protect" also qualifies, as well as Black Enchantress. Viperia has the power level of a master villain, but she's not in a command position. Then there's one in VOICE, but that's spoiler territory.
I have a few master villainesses in Gestalt (Dr. Power, Weng Chi'ang, and Ominos), but that's not by Hero, only by a friend of Hero.

Re: Gestalt: Architects of Change: What Would *You* Like to See
I'm trying to make a push to get things done on the writing end. I don't have much further to go, but the latest round of writer's block has been *very* unfun.

Glad to have you aboard, Storn.

Re: Champions Sneak Peek #1: The Cover!
Seeker is one of the big reasons why I like the addition of Combat Luck in 5e. Because genre literature is filled with examples of people who go out and have adventures without visible body armor or regeneration, and if the Hero System can't make that viable, then it's failing a serious genre emulation test. People who ridicule him solely for lack of resistant defences just make me shake my head in sadness.
I'm sorry Seeker was taken out of the Hero Universe (he would have been a perfect showcase for Combat Luck had he been kept in 5th), though I like Nighthawk too. The Aussie's a stereotype on the surface, but there's enough hooks in his background and personality to make him a lot of fun -- and surprisingly deep -- in play.

Re: Champions Sneak Peek #1: The Cover!
I always thought, the best Cover in HERO(Could have been) history would have been a Follow up cover for the BBB, which shows the result of a Seeker vs Dr. Destroyer fight. Still. Nighthawks boot sticking out of one of Gronds back molars would have been another plus methinks. ;D~Rex
If memory serves, Rob tried to commission George to do the cover for Day of the Destroyer, but that, alas, fell through. Can't complain too much about the Ben Dunn cover, though.
This one certainly looks great.

Re: Champions Sneak Peek #1: The Cover!
There's no rules in it, unless somethings changed bigtime.I like the cover for the most part. I think Sapphire's energy should have been, well, sapphire colored and not amethyst colored . . .
But whatcha gonna do. It's got great action and Grond looks HUGE.
In game, Grond IS huge. Check out the pic of him on the 4th page of the screenshots thread in the CO forum.

Re: Thoughts about the Holiday event?
I enjoyed it, but I'm the sort of person who likes farming and scavenger hunts as a break from the main game. I'm looking forward to fighting Clarence when he's not quite so overfarmed.

Nemesis #2 for Thundrax. Finally decided on Lady Lightning, a woman with a decidedly Silver Age motif. Jackie Onassis meets Joan Crawford meets Electro.

Re: HERO SYSTEM MARTIAL ARTS -- What Do *You* Want To See?
My pipe dream/make-a-wish would be to include stick figure drawings for each martial art's basic stances, and more description text for how the moves look, to help players describe their combats in greater visual detail.
Not sure anyone else cares. But anything to improve the visyals while accurately reflecting the actual combat style would be good.

Re: Gestalt: Architects of Change: What Would *You* Like to See
A couple of questions. Will there be more information provided on the Probability Lords and maybe how they connect with the Gestalt Dimension?
If a bonded Gestalt dies, what happens to the Gestalt portion of the superhuman? Does it get recycled back to the Gestalt Dimension to be re-bonded in the next wave? Or does it die with the human host?
1. You'll learn a little more about the Probability Lords' in connection with the creation of the Eiko. Interest permitting, the Gestalt Dimension will be the focus of a third book, in a similar fashion as this one focuses on space.
2. The gestalt portion of the superhuman dies with the host, though it (usually) gets resurrected in those rare occasions the superhuman is brought back from the dead.

Re: Gestalt: Architects of Change: What Would *You* Like to See
Umh ?Good research on the German names just two suggestions:
Instead of Hauptsängerin Meistersängerin ( Hauptsängerin is not even a word or name) and der Faulenzer instead die Faulenzer (in this case "die" implies multiple persons).
Thanks! Getting authentic names in languages you don't speak is a trick. I always appreciate corrections.

Re: CHAMPIONS UNIVERSE: What Do *You* Want To See?
A couple of things spring to my mind off the bat based on some CO channel discussions.
First, a small section on the relationship between events in the real world and CU would be nice. You don't have to *say* "9/11 happened, there's a war in Afghanistan, etc.", but people need to know how close the worlds are to draw on real life events and whether they can work it into their background stories.
Second, having been embroiled in arguments on whether people can make analogies to Superman, the Flash and other fictional properties, I'd suggest amending the comic book section so it's clear that major fctional comic book characters are well-known in pop culture (and that references are acceptable, even if copyright infingement isn't. ))
More when I see issues arise.
