Mark Rand
I have an idea for a liaison officer in my superhero campaign. She's an FBI agent with a difference. She and her partner busted a big-time crook, who said that he'd sic Coyote on them. Coyote cursed the lady agent, causing her to become a cougar when enraged. When this happens, in addition to the physical stats, she has the intelligence of this cat. Fortunately, Dr. Arcane heard about this and forced Coyote to help the lady agent. He gave her a moonstone-set choker that lets her control when she changes and makes sure only the physical stats change. Any ideas on writing the curse? Any ideas on the choker's writeup? Last year, there was a thread having to do with some kind of beauty contest with color pictures and photos. One photo had Gillian Anderson, Scully from X-Files, in a black jumpsuit with the letters FBI on it in white. Anyone know where this can be found? It'll work for this agent. Blue
For the pic of gillian, search for the word "catsuit" in non-gaming discussion forum; It's on page7 of "who looks best in a catsuit" thread. As for the curse, maybe tomorrow. My brain is in neutral right now.
Chuckg
The curse should be a pretty uncomfortable Multiform with No Conscious Control. The choker is the points necessary to buy off the No Conscious Control, cut down by the value of the IAF (if you can just rip it off her), or the IIF (if you actually need effort to get it off of her). Add -- Granted, if this for an NPC, you don't need to put down point values for it at all. Simply rule "Sometimes she's this cougar" (haul out bestiary writeup) "and sometimes she's this FBI agent" (haul out NPC's normal sheet). Ghost who Walks
Could do it just as a disadvantage: (as the Agent) Accidental Change: turns into cougar (with Cougar intelligence) when without choker. Then buy the multiform normally. (as the cat) A Physical limitation, stating she needs the choker to keep her intelligence. One or the other should do. Mark Rand
Blue, Chuckg, Ghost who Walks, thanks for your posts. Blue, thanks to your suggestion, I found the image I wanted. It was on page 1 of the 'poll: The Catsuit Pagent' thread.
Mark Rand
Chuckg, it is an IIF. Can you imagine a crook's surprise if he takes the choker and finds himself facing an enraged cougar? Would it have been reasonable for her to have gone through the same combat training and oder identification a police dog gets? Of course, since she has human intelligence, it would be easier for her to pick the skills up. Her partner might also be trained in handling her under such circumstances. She could also have a mystic link with her partner that lets them converse when she's in courar form.

There is an issue .40 caliber S&W listed on her character sheet, right?
Mark Rand
Good point. Of course, she could've been hit from behind. The crook grabbed her choker before she could grab her gun and gets an unpleasant surprise
Chuckg
I thought you said the choker was bought as IIF, not IAF? If it can be taken away with a simple Grab maneuver, then you can save some more points.
Mark Rand
Good point. The punk's trying to unhook it as she changes. Since it, along with everything else on her person, merge into her fur, he's in trouble. Would the FBI tell the public about their cougar/agent?
