Almafeta
How many printings/revisions has it gone through? I've been trying to compare notes with other people, but it doesn't seem like any page I'm talking about has what they're talking about, and vice versa. My copy says fourth printing, but I don't know if that means four out of five or four out of twenty.
Trebuchet
So far as I know there is no revised printing as of yet. There is an errata page on the Hero website with errata from all current Hero publications.
Hugh Neilson
Mine's a third printing (Aug/02). The book's copywritten '02. Hmmm...Intro is dated Jan/02. Two printings sold through in under 8 months. Impressive...most impressive!
keithcurtis
Though there are multiple printings of the 5E book, to my knowledge, none of these are revised printings. Revising a printing is far more involved than simply asking your printer to run off more copies of an already-completed product. Lord Liaden
Whatever the number of printings 5E has gone through, DoJ has said that there have been no changes to any of the copies printed, and won't be for some time. Every one should be identical as far as what's on any particular page. Is it possible that the people you've been comparing notes with are referring to an earlier edition of the rules? Or maybe they're looking at one of the other books like the Champions genre book, assuming its the same as the 5E rulebook?
Steve Long
We're in the fourth printing. None of the printings after the first are any different, though -- they're simply additional printings made after the first to keep up with customer demand.
