Ghost Archer
What I want to design is a tracking device. Something that is attached a target that allows someone with a receiver to follow the tracker over long distances, probably will have to have Megascale. Any ideas? JmOz
Re: Tracking Devices My computer locked up... Ohh well I dislike Steve's write up, I find it to be to expensive for what is (IMO) a minor power My write up is this Detect a class of things (Tracers), 360, range, sense, +3 telescopic, VarAdvantage (+1/4 advantages; +1/2), OAF (-1) The VarAdvantages are 3 different Megascale (1"=10m, 1"=100m, 1"=1km) and Difficult to dispell 30 Active, 15 real

Acroyear
Re: Tracking Devices Last time I did it, I did it with 2 powers. One is an images (some exotic "signal" or wavelength of radiation). Usable as an attack with a continuous charge (the battery of the tracer or the wavelength breaks down over time). The other is a detect. As in detect exotic wavelength of radiation. Telescopic and all that. I think I later added discriminatory so I could have multiple tracers running and was able to tell them apart as more than just "blips." This was many years ago for a character who wasn't played for long. I've also seen it done with a rather "stupid" AI (with EGO) and Mind scan only vs those AIs. Or it may have been mind link. Don't recall, but either allow a pretty impressive range. I seem to remember the official offering being rather expensive for what it was, as well.
