AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word Doubtful. The "authentic" Herbie is probably a number of stunt cars, some of them chopped into interesting pieces to get the shots they needed. In other news, I'm still blinking in surprise at this. It sort of caught me off-guard.

AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word I understand it was a bit more violent than that. I didn't read the actual link that cited how they died, because the next comment was remarking sadly that yeah, Koreans don't regard cats as highly as we do. SatinKitty
Re: The Last Word Unfortunately, cats get it the worst in the lab since next to the Primates, their brains and nervous systems are most like ours. It is also unfortunate that only one in five of all kittens born gets a home.
AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word Yeah, it's pretty awful. We've learned a lot by torturing kitties, but surely there have to be better ways of getting those answers!
lemming
Re: The Last Word Yea, that's why I didn't really look too much into this story. While Koreans don't value cats either, it's sometimes that bad in the US as well.
