Rage
Re: Musings on Random Musings Well of course not. Jesus' sports are Baseball (relief pitcher), Hockey and Soccer (goalies). Remember? Jesus saves! I'm either going to hell for that one, or straight to Heaven... have you asked Jesus into your life? Have you been saved by the beloved Saviour? If you haven't and you're not a jew you are going to hell.

Thank you for your business and have a nice weekend Thank YOU - I really appreciate it when people in jobs such as yours do your job properly and don't let people cut. Kudos. zornwil
Re: Musings on Random Musings Too...many...political...threads! *gasp* Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!!!!! I'll be happy when the election is over and the aftermath dies down. What really bothers me is how blindly partisan so many people are. I don't mind the political threads, as is obvious, but the election season has made people worse than usual.
zornwil
Re: Musings on Random Musings Shmee! Hey, I have found why I don't get stressed out by posting in political threads...I don't take part in the debate. I ask questions when I don't know what's going on or I go for the absurd derail. But I never stick my neck out and say I am right and try to establish dominance. I was just realizing... I don't know what "shmee" means. zornwil
Re: Musings on Random Musings Shatner's got a new album out, produced by Ben Folds. Unlike his previous effort, this one's actually not all that bad. Sounds like it's not so good then.
zornwil
Re: Musings on Random Musings Regurgitator are a techno subversive band. Paramaecium are the greatest Doom Metal band in th eworld Mortification are a long running Australian Christian Death band. Who, if anyone, would you compare Regurgitator to? Anything like, if you're familiar, Atari Teenage Riot? PS - and thanks.

Bazza
Re: Musings on Random Musings Sound like metal names.I know Mortification is a popular Christian-death metal band. They have more of a following overseas than in Australia. Regurguitator is a band I've heard of but not sure of the music genre. The middle one in Rage's lsit, I've never heard of before (and that surprises me). Edit: Rage answered before me

PS - and thanks. Umm... there rap is more Beastie boyesque than Eminem, their punk is more Penny-Wise/Blink 182 than any other punk band, their techno is just weird and yeah... In some ways they are more like the Mighty Giants, Violent Fems or Weezer than any other style. Regurgitator are the Rage of bands. http://www.regurgitator.net/ http://www.timrudder.com/regurgitator/home.php

Edit: Rage answered before me http://www.paramaecium.com It's doubtful that you would have heard of them. the only doom band that is remotley popular is Opeth and they (as a non christian band) are way more mainstream than Paramaecium + they have had alot of MTV coverage. zornwil
Re: Musings on Random Musings thanks. I just finished all that, I did get zorn.name going tonight, this was a good excuse. Here you go - please visit http://www.zorn.name/Wilson/music/top_1990s/index.html Note the links at the bottom for the individual years, but the top is probably of interest regarding the criteria, etc.. Jesus your kind just makes me sick! You go to hell--you go to hell and you die!! You mean, something like that? (This is a joke, btw, for those that don't get that.) Heh, actually I could almost tolerate this more than the "here's 50 unbiased sources and facts that prove conclusively everything Bush ever did in his life was demonic, and by the way this is completely objective," usually with some of what you just wrote sprinkled in. PS - when I read the first couple sentences I was getting a little "WTF" going on in my head, then I read the third one and knew you were kidding - that was good. Guest Worldmaker
Re: Musings on Random Musings Is he still at that? Sounds like he's bein a Zod about it to me. I posted the Guardians invitation on the Hero Boards, and he made sure to include his usual "You're going to want to check out his posting standards" comment. According to his own website, a "power monger GM" makes unreasonable requests of their players, including such things as posting standards, requirements that they be polite, and so on. His example of the type of thing a powermonger GM says to his players is a direct quote of me. On the other hand, according to him there is no way I should have been able to keep the GGU going as long as it has been.
