Lupus
Re: Arcane Adversaries Since this is due any day now, any of the playtesters want to elaborate on what coolness they've seen....for the benefits of the drooling masses? Rob Oh my god, how cool. Drooling myself, as I wait impatiently to pick it up hardcopy. Services a variety of genre elements, but the iron age-type stuff jumped out at me, because it was of particularly high quality. I'm not normally a fan of the hardcore material, but this was quite fine. I'd be happy to use it in my game. Furthermore, there's the trademark DoJ mystic weirdness. It keeps up the high standard that I found with the Mystic World. The Circle of the Scarlet Moon writeups are particularly cool. They're going to prime a GM's imagination. With this, and the Mystic World, half my game's gonna turn into magic-inpired lunacy.

FenrisUlf
Re: Arcane Adversaries Are there any 'monster' characters? I.e., werewolves and/or vampires? I know I get a bit redundant on this, but I do like well-done monsters as characters, especially when there's some originality behind them -- and if 5th Ed has anything, it's got originality! Lord Liaden
Re: Arcane Adversaries I heard they update The Devil's Advocates. What are they like now? Rob Fewer members, but individuals probably more powerful. A couple of new faces, but Demonologist is still in charge.

I updated them a year ago on my own, but...as usual....if the "official" remakes seem better....I'll just use them. On the other hand, my current campaign has no pressing need of their collective presence....yet. Rob
