Blue Jogger
Re: entangle La défense de entangle ne dégrade pas à moins que le entangle soit détruit. Réalisez que 5 DEF sont un mur de brique ou une pierre pleine. Il devrait être vulnérable pour flamber, cependant. The Entangle defense does not degrade unless the Entangle is destroyed. Realize 5 DEF is a brick wall or solid stone. It should be vulnerable to flame, however.
Hugh Neilson
Re: entangle Your first hit has reduced the Entangle to a 5 DEF, 1 BOD entangle. The full DEF remains in place until the Entangle is eliminated. [i won't try for the translation - your English is well above my French. ]
Legendsmiths
Re: entangle I agree. Zut Alors! Anyway... If it is a spiderweb, he should buy it as transparent to crushing damage and vulnerable to flame. I also agree that 5 DEF 5 BODY is way huge. I hope you are fighting creatures which typically have 50 STR or more otherwise your combats will go like this (especially if you buy transparent to crushing damage): Players to Arachnomancer: Web it!!! Arachnomancer: Webbed! Players: Clubs to the front! GM to himself: Can I push the STR of my Troll by 20 pts???
Old Man
Re: entangle You could leave the DEF that high versus physical damage, and say it's really tough to break throughthis stretchy, sticky web, and then throw some limitations on there like "-1/2 0 DEF vs. fire of bladed damage"
Hugh Neilson
Re: entangle The limitation for an entangle with a Vulnerability (takes double damage) or a susceptibility (removed entirely) is in FREd. It varies from -1/4 to -1 depending on how common, and how easy to figure out, the Achilles' Heel is.
