Guest bblackmoor
Re: Party! "Bullshit" becomes her new code name in the Ultimates line. Not a fan of the Iron Age, I take it. Actually, Blueshift is unusual (among my PCs) in that she has code vs. killing. Hmm... come to think of it, so does Avalon. Maybe it's not as unusual as I'd thought. Heretic doesn't, but he has that whole honorable martial artist thing going. He wouldn't kill anyone unless they truly needed killing. Wormhole
Re: Party! Air Raider: Skydiving and boxing Tiger Shark: Surfing and deep sea fishing. Hardware: Tinkering with any piece of technology he can get his hands on. Unfortunately, he has his "Tim Taylor Moments," such as the time he enhanced an electric leafblower with a Kalverite power pack (his neighbors thought they were being hit by a tornado). Wormhole: Wild parties, listening to heavy metal from alternate Earths, playing pranks on the multiverse at large, beer, snowboarding, and checking out the chicks in the latest issue of Maxim. Guest bblackmoor
Re: Party! I simply have to either get involved in a PBeM or talk one of my players into being a GM for me for a session or two so that I can make a character and participate in these discussions. I have taken a fairly long hiatus from running PBEM games, but I am contemplating starting one up. If you are actually serious, I'll let you know when/if I do. Alternately, you might like to get in touch with Nexus. She runs several PBEM games (I do not know where she finds the time), and I think she does a good job of it. I don't know if she's looking for players, but there's no harm in asking.

Hero Central, run by Hero Games (there's a link in the list of Forums), always has a few games looking for players. For example, my "Americon Icon" game... Guest bblackmoor
Re: Party! Nexus is a guy. No offense intended. I assume everyone is female until I find out differently, or until they request I call them something in particular. It's not like it matters. Nexus could be a robot for all I know. All I know is that I enjoyed lurking in Nexus' games. Hero Central' date=' run by Hero Games...[/quote'] Unfortunately, the last time I checked, Hero Central's scripts sent out invalid email, making it unreadable to many people using standards-compliant email clients. I mentioned it to them, and even offered to help fix it, but they said they knew it was broken and that they had no intention of fixing it. Maybe they changed their minds and have since corrected the error. It's been a few months, so things may have improved since.

SKJAM!
Re: Party! Rock Bottom: Plays tennis, flirts with men. Calculus: Does crossword puzzles in ink, hangs out with his wife and child. Mask of Justice: Is not averse to a beer, or a stronger drink if one's offered. Flirts with women. He also enjoys brawling. Talion: Writing, any game that does not involve a need for another person. Tries to flirt with women, but has horrendous luck. Kira Midori: Shopping, eating, going on dates. Is not fond of most 20th Century "entertainment."
Samuraiko
Re: Party! That's easy, Maureen (aka Midnight) would be partying and enjoying the casinos of Millennium City, scheming and schmoozing with all and sundry, first at the best restaurants in town, then the best bars, then the best nightclubs. Or, if she feels more mellow, it's off to the Yacht Club for drinks on the fantail of the hottest guy's yacht. Too bad it's not New York City, but then again, nothing else really compares. Misery Lad
Re: Party! Every single one of my NPCs is built with some kind of sideline skill/interest. I won't build them any other way, unless there's a darn good reason pending. It all goes into the be-the-best-3-dimensional-character-you-can-be pool. One character, for instance, plays electronic keyboards and is trying to start his own progressive rock band in the style of Genesis/Flower Kings/Yes. Another character is a hobby photographer. Still another loves to dance and is trying to get down all the modern moves. Another is a ventriloquist and another is a street-corner comic. Lots and lots more. Comic book collector...Chess player...writer...nature nut...
