How would you ... PC Fusion?

DBZ references aside ...

In my Teen Champs game, I've got one PC who can turn into water, and another who turns into anything of earth or stone. Someone mentioned an old issue of Spider-Man where Sandman and Hydroman slammed into each other and merged into a mud-creature, so I'm waiting for these two to try it.

How do we do this? The only thing I'm coming up with is some kind of weird Summon with the Specific Being modifier (the merged form) and some side-effect where the two PCs disappear ...

Well, with Sandman and Hydro Man, it's not something they *wanted* to do.

In-game, for the "accidental mixing - turn into monster" event, I would handwave it in the name of special effects and cool plot event, and either a) have a sheet prepared if I knew I was going to do it, B) wing stats as we went, or c) do a quick winging of stats based on PC level +50% for most things, though defenses would be about the same.

To do it as a trick they learn and do willingly...errm. Maybe a multiform with appropriate limits, and have them each pay half the cost?

Re: How would you ... PC Fusion?

Id say itd be multiform with the limitation personal body dissapears (-1), similar to making astral projection, and OAF: Other entity made of water or earth(-2?),

I'd let my players buy up to 1 + 1/2 of their CPs in a multiform. Example, if they were both 300pt characters, Id let them make a 450 pt multiform (300 + 150).

So the power would cost 90 (90x5=450) / 4 = 22cps. This is unless theyre putting it in a multipower or have other limitations to add....

I agree with Serpent though, if its a one time thing, let it happen just for cool special effects, just be prepared with a quick sheet. If they ever want to duplicate it, then theyd have to pay points to keep it...It would be full points too, not half each because the multiform is built for each individual to represent them dissaperaring..Theyre already getting a point break for it.
