He worked up the ladder to Police Captain partly because of his tough stance on crime and his solid reputation. He has been Captain for about 5 years now since his predeccesor retired and he has worked hard on corruption and organized crime. So much so that some Crime Lords have taken out contracts out on him. Now that superhumans have arrived on the scene in San Fransisco Spice is not really sure how to handle this new development. He has recently encountered a group of self-proclaimed 'superheroes' calling themselves the Citizen League which he secretly hopes will help him protect his city. He is also concerned that street crime may turn into supercrime and create even more trouble. Powers/Tactics: Campaign Use:
pinecone
Re: Please critique this character Looks cool...but what era is this game based in? Because if he started when he was 18 in the '30's he's like...ummm..93 years old.....thats past the mandatory retirement age....even in California.... CraterMaker
Re: Please critique this character I like the character, too.. My only comments are that his Martial Art might be more appropriate as "Dirty Infighting", and that he has no Conversation/Persuation skills (I think they called it "horse trading" back then) or contacts "on the street".. y'know, criminals who've gone straight after prison who've got useful skills (a forger, a bookie, etc). Possibly shave some points off his int (down to 15 or 14), buy some resistance and extra Pre for def (Stubborn), just for flavor. Give him the Disad Reputation, probly a big one, cuz anyone in city government for the past 30 years is going to know his M.O. Favors from people in the past and present administration would be appropriate, a high Knowlege skill of the history of the city, and maby a KS: Where the Bodies are Buried. Possibly a Dnpc, a retired semi crippled cop who he looks after from a sense of responsiblility (maby injured by an up and coming supervillian?) ,or a follower if you've got the points and want him to be more useful than a plot hook. Give him a pair of brass knuckles or a billy club for when things get sticky, give him a K-9 follower (or let him summon one by calling his Handicapped DNPC) and don't let him take crap from anyone, cuz he's been there and done that, and by the book only applies when you're cooking! -CraterMaker
Hyper-Man
Re: Please critique this character Seems to be a very nice character but I do have one small question though. Why not give him +1 Overall Level instead of the +1 w/HTH Combat and +1 w/Ranged Combat? HM
