Re: The Price (Character)

Nice! I like him a lot! Reminds me of a more supernatural version om my old character Revenant (who himself was largely inspired by James Spector from te Wild Cards books).

Nothing quite like the Crow-style presence attack that invloves letting yourself be riddled with hideous amounts of gunfire, standing back up, picking up the hunk of skull that was blown loose, replacing it on the back of your head then turing back around with a big malicious grin and glowing eyes....

Re: The Price (Character)

63 BODY for 6 character points... minor typo?

Nahhhh...

It's counting in the +50 body, only to avoid death. it effects on both the positive and negative side, so its worth noting.

Edit: In our campaign we decided that part of the +2 only to avoid death meant that it still acted like normal body, but it was all on the negative side. So, for example, The Price here would have a 13 body, but not die till he hit -113. But that was our approach...either is equally valid, tho I'm not sure that it's worth -2 if it effects on the positive side as well

Re: The Price (Character)

Shouldn't that be -63 Body for "death?" (Just boned up on my Praxis and despite how weird it looks punctuation always goes inside the quotation...:screwy:)

13 reg

-1 thru -13 dying

then the +50 Body hits

-63 OK but breathing his last

-64 Call it Jim!

Is there something I am missing?

Re: The Price (Character)

Enforcer84 appears to be using the HD character packs from the USPD and that is the way the power is written up in there (it's on p263 in th eactual book). Problaby should have clicked "Does not add to totals" though...

Or am I misunderstanding your question here?

EDIT: Nice write-up, btw. I'm looking forward to finding out what the character's background is like. It seems somehow legendary, or mythical, so far.

Mr E: See the Power Immortality Syndrome.

Bloodstone: Yeah, but I like the shock value of 63 Body...
