Dr Lucky
At one point, a player in the group I'm in played a character who's powers were based on Vash the Stampede from Trigun. He lacked one of Vash's powers though, and it's been wearing at my mind as to how to do it. How would one manipulate the trajectory of bullets in a gun fight one isn't involved in? I'm specifically thinking of the episode with the pistol dueling competition. Vash used his trajectory mainuplation powers to help others hit their targets, but making sure the shots were all non-lethal. I don't know how a Person A could effect Person B's shots at Person C. He could make Person B's shots more or less acurate, and always made sure that when Person C got shot, the bullet always hit in a way so as never to kill, and rarely to seriously injure. How do you make a character who can have that effect on other's attack powers?
Killer Shrike
Missile Deflection at Range with a Linked EB Stun only might do it.
Dr Lucky
I've finally been watching Trigun with the guys, and I always thought that particular power of Vash's was really cool, yet it was the one Jake didn't try to get for his character. Lord Liaden
For simply making the projectiles miss their target, Missile Deflection at Range would make the most sense. For improving the accuracy of the projectiles fired by another person, I'd suggest Combat Skill Levels Usable on Others as an Attack, Ranged. Non-lethality could be handled by making a Called Shot to a less damaging Hit Location, assuming your game uses HL - in which case Penalty Skill Levels to offset the HL penalty would be useful, too. Agent Escafarc
In this case I would allow Reflection at Range in addition to Missle Deflection at Range, then lots of Skill Levels with this.
Steve Long
An interesting challenge! Since I'm taking some "time off" from writing Fantasy Hero tonight to work on entries for our upcoming "UNTIL Superpowers Database" support web page (to which you'll be able to contribute -- details coming soon!), I decided to tackle this one for the "Telekinetic Powers" section. I did what Escafarc also seems to have done: allowed Reflection at Range. Of course, I noted that this requires the GM's permission, since it's a blatant violation of the rules. OTOH, it's pretty costly, even with Costs Endurance (-1/2), so it's probably not significantly unbalancing.
