BigJackBrass Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Re: HPA #7 now in Online Store I may have missed this being explained elsewhere on the boards, but the store entry for "Locomotive Pirates" says that it contains an FCW file - would some kind soul tell me what an FCW file is, please? Ben Seeman Posted November 11, 2005 Author Report Posted November 11, 2005 Re: HPA #7 now in Online Store It's a Campaign Cartographer file of the map(s) in the PDF. May of our HPAs include the sourcefiles of the maps in the document so that you can modify them yourself if you have the software. Quote
Steve Long Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Re: HPA #7 now in Online Store The PDFs themselves contain the maps as well, or they're attached as a separate PDF, of course. We just got some requests from Campaign Cartographer users to include the CC2 file (the FCW file, that is), and as a devoted CC2 user myself I didn't see any problem with adding them in. If you want to see the FCW file without modifying it, there's a free CC2 Viewer available on the ProFantasy Software website (http://www.profantasy.com). Quote
BigJackBrass Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Re: HPA #7 now in Online Store Ah! Thanks for the info. I was concerned that I might be lacking a bit of essential software on the Mac in order to use the whole adventure, but if it's just an extra for CC then that's no problem. Quote
Corvus Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Re: HPA #7 now in Online Store Let my just say I love these $3 adventures. Even if I know I won't run the fulll adventure, I can use a character or a map or even it just inspires me on a different adventure it is worth the money. Things like this are great. Quote
