Zed-F
Re: vpp Maybe you could describe what you're trying to do? Then we can give better advice about what sort of VPP would best fit, or if some other power framework would suit better...
ghost-angel
Re: vpp Here's a simple VPP concept: It has two parts. "Pool" and "Control" Pool is how much raw power is at hand. The Pool Points (say 60) give an Active Point cap to the Powers that may be placed in the Pool. This is a fixed cost thing. A 60 Point Pool will always costs 60 Points. Control is investment of how the pool may be manipulated. At the basic level, the Control costs half as much as the Pool (in our example of a 60 Point Pool our Base Control costs 30 PointS). The Control is where Advantages on the VPP, and Universal Limitations for the Powers, go. Also, an appropriate Skill (or Characterisitc) Roll must be chosen and bought. At base level the Slots in the Pool may be switched out only outside combat with sufficient time (minimum 5 Minutes I believe), and requires a Skill Roll. Some Advantages let you change out slots faster, some let you change out slots with less penalty to the Skill Roll, or no Skill Roll at all. Some Limitations tell you what kind of Special Effects a VPP may have (you can limit it to only Fire Effects) or types of Powers (only Movement Powers for example). Those above are applied to the Control Cost of the VPP. I hope that helps?
