Comic
A high-voiced wizard and master of transfigurative incantations has decided to collect to himself a group of like-minded villains, since everyone knows what a good idea supervillain groups are. He calls himself CasterAlto, a perfectly descriptive and apt title given how his powers work and their category of effects. His first recruit is the none-too-bright Gel-Ding, a punchdrunk former prize-fighter who stumbled into a vat of toxic chemicals and emerged with a tough, but gelatinous, bloblike form that can extend giant boxing-glove-shaped pseudopods and clobber anything he can hit with them. He'll stop fighting when the bell sounds. The pair were soon joined by the dastardly Noah Hunk -- or possibly Noh Hung -- a man whose disfigurements due to being strung up by the neck and left to bake under the heat of the desert sun left his ancestry, origins and speech permanently obscured. Whatever he was in life, his disturbingly deathlike current state possesses freakish loose-limbed martial arts skills using a noose. They found their gadgeteer in Shim, a shapeshifting former carpenter who decided to employ tools and skills for crime and easy money, but made the mistake of stealing an ancient Amazon belt from the private collection of a reclusive group of aesthetes. The fifth and final member of their group is the ephemeral Unique, CasterAlto's second-in-command, a robed figure who focuses psychic powers through a sickle wielded left-handed. No one has yet determined if this curved blade is a mystic artifact, an affectation, or something else. Together they form C.U.N.G.S. That's right. The Covert Underground Network for Getting Stuff. OctoberRaven
Re: Team Didn't Think Through Their Names I see their name also came from the initials of each member's name. So it's a good thing Gel-Ding didn't have steel powers and called himself Tungsten. And that's my "Putting Lowbrow in your Highbrow" for the day. Comic
Re: Team Didn't Think Through Their Names Feel free to rename him 'The Gel-Ding', if it helps fit the team into your campaign setting better. Just be sure to tell his quantum-powered dog, Neuticle, so he's not confused by the change.
Comic
Re: Team Didn't Think Through Their Names Oh, and by that reasoning, they'd be the Covert Underground Network for Taking Stuff, I suppose.

I expect he simply wasn't interested in getting banned, so stuck to the component words. ^_-
Comic
Re: Team Didn't Think Through Their Names It wouldn't be fair for everyone else to have an initial in the team acronym, and poor The Gel-Ding to be left out. What with his rage issues and all. Hormone imbalance.

PhaseKitty
Re: Team Didn't Think Through Their Names You stretched that out too far. It should of been cut off long ago.
