You make an extremely good point here, but not the one I think you intended to make: for those involved, this is a tragic (or at the very least extremely uncomfortable) event. Whatever entertainment we may derive from the thought, let's not forget that real people are still suffering from this -- and I must admit I completely did. But I'm still interested to see if anyone in the village develops unusual abilities. (No, seriously -- it could happen.
