As Germania she wears a form fitting, revealing, metallic gold armor, a short white skirt, golden sandels, a silver helm with great white wings on either side, a pair of black leather gloves with no fingers, a rather plain looking silver ring, a disc shield, and a silver hammer with a dark, wooden haft, wrapped in a red leather (dragon hide, by her recollection). Outside of her secret Id, she lets her hair down and while not supernaturally beautiful, is still a head turner and capable of making pulses race. She wears glasses, and business suits that show off her femenine charms without being unprofessionally revealing. In her secret ID, she works for Germany's UNTIL base. Personality: Germania is motivated to defend the people of Germany from evil inside and out. She has a special hatred for those who claim Nazi allegience; noting how the Nazis forever blackened the honor of her country. She is also a fun loving gal, much like her grandmother was but isn't ready to start a huge family. Freya exudes sexuallity as well. Far from prudish, she has posed for several glamour calenders, done commercials, even a Playboy spread. She has been voted one of the sexiest superheroines by mens' magizines the world over since she first appeared. She enjoys the attention, but is far from an adled bimbo sleeping her way to the top. She is just more sensual that many are used to. Quote:Stand down, villain, less Donnerkrieg show you the pain of the gods! Background: The granddaughter of the original Germania, Freya found the hammer, helm, and ring that her grandmother used when represnting Germany in World War II. However, once the war had ended and Germania knew the depths that the Nazis had sunk to, she cast aside her heroic identity. Mourning the loss of 5 of her sons, she became sullen and withdrawn. Her youngest son Karl married and in 1979 gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. This was the apple of her grandmama's eye. Freya (named for the nordic goddess of love and passion) grew into a strong, inquisitive girl; her grandmother told her tales of Germania's adventures in America. When she was 16 Freya found the equipment Germania had used in a box underneith her Grandmother's bed. Upon touching the hammer, she felt a surge of energy and passed out. When she awoke, her grandmother, a bright smile on her face and tears in her eyes informed her that she would be the new symbol of heroism for Germany. It was a glorious day.Germania II served her country well for five years. Then one day, the nordic God, Thor appeared and claimed her hammer was created from the mighty Mjollnir, and that he had come to reclaim the power. Before she could say anything, her enchanted hammer disappeaered in a flash of lightning. Freya was still dressed in her costume, and in a rage, she launched herself at Thor and knocked him to the ground. The Thundergod, his power increasing after absorbing her hammer, struck back and she spent the next several nights in a hospital. After the "Night of Fire" when roughly six million people world wide simply vanished, Freya felt the urge to summon her hammer back to her hand, lo and behold, it appeared. She was now stronger than ever. Germania is a very popular heroine worldwide, her ring makes her nigh irresistable to men, and her courage, and general kindness make her popular with women even if they find her "vampy" for the way men adore her. Powers/Tactics: Freya isn't quite as strong as her grandmother was; but she has her abilities at all times. She can summon her costume and weapons from their storage (a sliver dimension) at will. Her hammer, Donnerkrieg (which I think is german for "Thunderstrike"), is a copy of Mjollnir, it enables her to fly, returns to her hand when thrown and is a Personal Focus, special effect that only she or someone it deems worthy can lift it. Her shield no longer sports a swastika, but a red field surrounded by a black ring with a golden thunderbolt in the center. She has the helmet and ring as well. She also summons form fitting and oddly revealing chain "Armor" that never the less provides total protection as well as life support. Campaign Use: A mid level brick with good damage and some odd powers. She represents her country as best she can and has founded a team of supers with the descendants of other Golden Age German supers. Yamo
Neat character. Seems kind of like a cross between Wonder Woman and a female Thor.

Killer Shrike
Reminds me of when I had to watch Batman in French class. Monsieure De Fladermaus (or however it was spelled in French -- I skipped that class 9 times out of 10 and passed with a bs D bcs I aced the midterm & final (I am the cramming master )) just doesnt sound as kewl as "Le Batman" but those Frenchies have to translate everything into thier own language

She made me translate "put responsibility for your work on someone else". And all we got to watch was a French episode of "Fraggle Rock". Enforcer84
my french teacher regaled us with his tales of meeting jody foster and henry winkler. I once told him in a fit of panic that I didn't know who my father was... we watched the french version of 3 men and a baby.
