Acroyear II
If a base has Life Support or Change Environment (heating/cooling) that costs END to use per phase, how many phases do they use END per Turn? Since bases have no Speed, how do I know how often the base's Life Support or Change Environment draws from the base's END Reserve (generator)? JmOz
I think the official answer is three, but I use two
Hugh Neilson
Since we can voluntarily reduce SPD to 1, and bases have no SPD, why not just use 1?
eepjr24
FAQ From the FAQ: Q: For purposes of END expenditure, what’s a Base’s or Vehicle’s “Speed A: For things like Life Support and gravity generation — abilities which affect the entire Base/Vehicle (or a significant part of it) — consider them the equivalent of Constant Area Of Effect attacks. They affect the entire “area†(the Base/Vehicle), and remain in existence on the Segments between the Base’s/Vehicle’s Phases. However, the Base/Vehicle only pays END for them on its Phases (for these purposes, all Bases have SPD 3). For systems not in constant use, like weapons and danger rooms, it depends on the computer or character operating them.
