BobGreenwade
This video is just a little something I stumbled across while searching for something else. Now I'm just waiting for the same level of achievement with two-legged walking.
Sociotard
Re: Four legged robot with creepily realistic movements Oh, Bigdog! you should have said the name in the original post. Yeah, I've seen the video. Last I heard they were still trying to fix the power storage problem (it goes through batteries the way a hobo goes through cheap booze). Then again, I also heard they were trying to mount it with a targeting system and a tazer. Oh, and see a spoof on the above video:
Captain Obvious
Re: Four legged robot with creepily realistic movements It's pretty impressive how it recovered when the guy kicked it or it slipped on ice. It's noisy as all get out though, which will need to be fixed if it's going to be a military "mule".
phookz
Re: Four legged robot with creepily realistic movements That thing is cool, and creepy. The movements are clearly not organic, but have a weird organic nature to them, making it somewhat unsettling to watch. Very cool to see how well it does, this will be interesting to see where this goes.
