Fae Court/Hellfire club idea

I've decided to create an organization of metahumans that have entirely selfish goals and are some what similar to Marvel's Hellfire Club. They will have titles and such based on the Fae Court. Unfortunately, my knowledge of the Fae Courts are somewhat limited. I know there is a Winter court and a Summer Court and each has it's own Queen and Knight but little else. Anyone with better knowledge/understanding of the subject care to point me to source with the information I need?

Also, has anyone done anything like this before?

You might want to take a look at Digital Hero #18. Steve Long's article, "Out Of The British Isles," is a good overview of the different faeries who make up the Seelie and Unseelie Courts, their names, classifications, and spheres of interest or influence, with an eye to how they could be used in a game. It would probably be a simple (and inexpensive) resource for most of the information you'd need for your purposes.

Actually' date=' make that Seelie and Unseelie courts...[/quote']

The problem is that folklore gives us essentially no information about about the internal composition of fairy courts. The land of fairy is made of vagueness. They'd pretty much have to make up their own titles such as Knight of Shadows, Duke of Thorns, or whatever.

In terms of actually using individuals from the Courts, there's some truth to that; but since SuperJerry wants to pattern an organization after the faeries, there's no reason he couldn't pattern classes or even individuals within his org after general types of faeries.

Just glancing through Steve Long's DH article I mentioned above, I find descriptions for the Daoine Sidhe, Sluagh, Ghillie Dhu, Lesidhe, Lunantisidhe, Korred, Brownie, Gruagach, Alp-Luachra, Awd Goggie, Buachailleen, Urisk, Athac, Black Annis, Cailleach Bheur, Redcap, Spriggan, Duergar, Barguest... and that's just half way through.
