VictorVonDoom
Everone knows how a character is build up Start from base 10 stats and increase them when your Figured characteristics change and you want to increase them what has the base value to do with the construction of a character? (base value - each characterics in figured characteristics table is though differend) Do you use it to increase the base value scores or is it the score that is based on the primary stats that is altered? or is it both? Suppose a character would look like this Cp used: 150 10 Strength > 15 * 5 cp 10 Dexterity > 10 * 0 cp 10 Constitution > 15 * 10 cp 10 Body > 15 * 10 cp 10 Intelligence > 15 * 5 cp 10 Ego > 10 * 0 10 Presence > 10 * 0 10 comeliness > 10 * 0 ----------------------------------------------------------------- 30 cp PHD: 15/5 = 3 EPH: 15/5=3 SPD: 10/10+1=2 REC: (15/5) + (15/5)=3+3=6 END: 15*2= 30 STN: 15+Str/2+Con/2= 15+7.5+7.5=31 what is wrong in this character? this character has no name this is just an example so don't look at his identity
CrosshairCollie
It all looks mathematically accurate to me ...
Simon
The values posted above are all correct. Figured Characteristics, as the name implies, are "figured" from the primary characteristic values. For example (as noted above): PD = STR / 5 As your strength goes up, so does your PD. Your base PD. Primary characteristics have a fixed "base" value (10). Figured Characteristics have a varying base value, determined by the actual value of the Characteristics that they are based off of. Your PD's base value changes with your Strength. You can also buy up your Figured Characteristics beyond their base value, the same way you can buy up primary Characteristics beyond their base value. The only point at which Figured Characteristics really vary from the primary Characteristics (other than having a varying base value) is that you can only sell off one Figured Characteristic. You can't, for example, reduce both PD and ED to 2 in the example you gave above.

VictorVonDoom
take my example see this the hero that is stated in th example 10 Strength > 15 * 5 cp 10 Dexterity > 10 * 0 cp 10 Constitution > 15 * 10 cp 10 Body > 15 * 10 cp 10 Intelligence > 15 * 5 cp 10 Ego > 10 * 0 10 Presence > 10 * 0 10 comeliness > 10 * 0 ----------------------------------------------------------------- 30 cp PHD: 15/5 = 3 EPH: 15/5=3 SPD: 10/10+1=2 REC: (15/5) + (15/5)=3+3=6 +1 (see above)= 7 END: 15*2= 30 STN: 15+Str/2+Con/2= 15+7.5+7.5=31 (2 cp extra used to raise rec) 1)in what order does a player change his stats? first the "common" stats and then the figured or can the common be changed again after the derived are changed. (i don't have a GM to ask it too so ..) (see 2) for more) 2) 1) i changed rec in to 7 2) i saw that i wanted to change my "common" stats 3) suppose that changes my rec negativily back to 6 4) is this normal? Or shoud i pay again 2 cp to change it back to 7 ? Or should i change my "normal stats" that there is no differends with rec = 7...
Zed-F
You can change your stats in any order you like, as much as you like, while you are building your character. You always recalculate your figured stats when you change any primary stat which affects them. Once your character is built, typically you will not change your stats except to boost them with XP. Any changes you make to your primary stats with XP will cause your figured stats to be recalculated. During play, it is possible for various powers to affect your stats positively or negatively (beffs/debuffs). Usually if such a power affects a primary stat, it will not also affect your figured characteristics (unless the power is specifically constructed to do so.)
