crayadder
Hello all, I'm trying to find the modifiers to hit rolls for ranged attacks on a target which is moving away, toward, and perpendicularly across the line of fire and up and down in the line of fire. Can't seem to locate it in the big book. Basically I am creating an archery trick shot competition and need to figure out how much to increase the difficulty of the shot based on the different motions of the target. Can someone point me in the right direction? thanks all
Rapier
Re: Modifier For Range Attacks on Moving Objects Unless you are referring to the Movement Based DCV, I don't recall ever seeing anything relating to the movement vector (eg moving away, towards or perpendicular). Attacks are always considered to be aimed in an instant so you would just calculate the range as normal. You might increase the DCV of the target if it is smaller than human sized. What would be considered a good modifier to curve an arrow? NP! To curve? You mean to sling it around a corner or something? I would use the Bouncing rules. Alibear
Re: Modifier For Range Attacks on Moving Objects I think he means to fire it high in the air and fall down. I hope so anyway. Normal range rules apply. Archers trained to hit areas not really individuals at range.
dmjalund
Re: Modifier For Range Attacks on Moving Objects anything more fancy than the above, might require the Indirect advantage (maybe with something related to an RSR roll)
