JmOz
Is there anyway to make a velocity based disarm, been looking at HSMA and the 6e2 but not finding anything except grab by Also on the issue of Grab by, am I reading this right, traveling at 150m per action is only worth a +3d6 strength? Norm
Re: Speed Disarm Is there a reason that a drain on movement would not work? Or maybe a naked advantage on your strength, adding range but limiting it to only used with a grab? Actually.. sounds like telekinesis, with limitations. Kraven Kor
Re: Speed Disarm The +3d6 for 150m doesn't sound right to me, either... I think Move By and Grab By have the same v/10... so 150m should be 15d6. I know my current low-power speedster gets +2 to +3d6 on his Move By attacks from just 20~30m movement. Wait, yeah, Grab By is "+ v/10 to STR" not "+ v/10 Damage Classes"... so yeah, +3d6. That does seem odd.

Hyper-Man
Re: Speed Disarm I just confirmed that it's not a typo. Passing Disarm (a 5 point martial maneuver) only adds a flat +10 STR (Hero System Martial Arts 6e). I would go the Martial Arts route and buy some Martial DC's which would add to the STR of the Passing Disarm.
Vondy
Re: Speed Disarm You might be able to convert the optional velocity based to hit modifiers (don't know if they made it into 6E) into positive modifiers for a disarm roll.
