tkdguy
Popular Science Magazine just came out with an issue called Space 2100. It has lots of good ideas you can you to run a hard science fiction campaign, including robots, solar sails, and colonizing Mars. This is a great resource and a font of ideas. Adventus
Another good Magazine to get is the Special Edition of Scientific American from May, 2003. It talks about teleportation, how much information you can store in any given space, & worm holes , to name a few things. It mainly deals with the edge of Physics. Also talking about Popular Science, the May 2001 issue is a must have. It talks about the FTL drives that Nasa is working on and the science behind them. cypar7
The Industrial Physicist has had many good articles in the past. The best have been regarding solar power. I recommend "Solar Power via the Moon" by David R. Criswell. The link is below. cypar7 http://www.aip.org/tip/

Hey, they promised me flying cars! Now, you're telling me I have to wait until 2100 to get one?

Pattern Ghost
Seen those. But they're not all buzzing around the skyscrapers like on the covers of the old Popular Sciences. =)

tkdguy
If you look at the New York Life commercials you'll see flying cars and taxis. And the kids apparently consult their insurance agents without their parents. My, they grow up quickly nowadays...
