Background/History: Kali is a figment of the goddess of the same name summoned and given tremendous power and a human host by a kabalist sorcerer in a bid to get revenge on those who had wronged him, his family, and his poeple.

 

The ritual was co-opted by the Ascendant who was looking for a weapon to use against his old foe Endiku and his allies. Kali proved a delightful opponent for his enemies but nigh uncontrollable. She escaped into the night and has since then been sighted alone or as the "pawn" of one or another master criminal, always looking for her next fight.

 

Personality/Motivation: Kali the Destroyer is slowly evolving. When she first arrived on Earth, she was a near single-minded sower of destruction. She still loves tearing down things in her path or that catch her eye - and doing battle with heroes? Oh that's fun.

 

But a curious, nurturing aspect has slowly started to form. Where as once she would topple an orphanage gleefully, she now as often as not halts combat to rescue innocent children. One time allies who use children as hostage or worse have found to their sorrow that she's not a fan of such behavior.

 

She also takes a dim view of "honor killing."

 

Recently, she has started exploring other aspects of her femininity and a few of her "lovers" have lived to tell the tale.

Powers/Tactics: A highly skilled warrior, Kali is sometimes lazy - simply overwhelming her foes with her strength, stooping to tactical or team work based skills if they prove capable or she's bored with the routine.

 

She delights in property damage and using her environment to her advantage.

 

Campaign Use:

 

Appearance: Tall and strongly built, Kali is still quite lovely with sharp, strong features and perfect skin. Her hair and eyes are the color of fresh blood. She tends to dress in whatever strikes her fancy as it invariably gets mostly destroyed in her rages, she has a very revealing set of gold "armor" she wears as her uniform.
